Maybe the show is that far under the radar?
I'm sure Clarence got some complaints for Jeff's two mommies, and Ruby and Sapphire are heavily censored abroad. I'm happy this is becoming less an less a "Angry group of religious leaders posing as moms" issue and more a "yeah? So what?!" issue...
Yeah, but the Clone Wars already had some rerun deal on Netflix, and the episodes that premiered exclusively there were pretty much already made, if not in the process of being finished before Disney cancelled it. After all, it was produced for a different network by a different company, and...
I still need to catch that one.
I really like that Disney found a way to ad ethnicity into the line up without trying to shoehorn it into an existing fairy tale like they did with Princess and the Frog. I really hope this has bearing on the Princess line up, as it's a TV show and they end to...
I'll say this. For all the crap that Paul Feig and the cast and even the cast of the previous movie for defending it got, the real controversy should have been how freaking poor the distribution of the snackfoods have been. I have never seen a movie tie in this poorly handled. I'm sure...
Hey. There's a reason why Garfield a Tale of Two Kitties was a hit in Chinese regions. Probably banned everything but that piece of crap.
Though, without them, Pacific Rim would've crashed and burned for not being a movie about Adam Sandler acting like a creepy manchild unnaturally married to...
I totally think that SW's lower budget is also acontributing factor to the lack of cast variety this season. We're not going to know until season 47 (or until more season 47 details pop up) if that's the case, since 47 will be the first season produced entirely by HBO's money. When it comes to...
If the movie doesn't make much on the national scale, we can't count on China to bump those numbers up like certain films, as their Ministry of Culture refuses to distribute the movie. Because ghosts are seen as censorable material that's somehow counterproductive to their "Communist" country...
On a purely critical level, China, IL isn't bad. It's just that kinda show that isn't wacky enough to be funny or doesn't take itself seriously enough to be straight up. Plus, the episode with the guy's butt being a comedian? Someone kinda did it better, and the only difference is the...
I know this is an old thread, but I feel this is better to bring up a relevant subject rather than posting a third or fourth thread on the subject.
That said, this has been bugging me and i really don't have much else of a place to post this, but...
I've said before I don't much care for the...
Some info about the original Bad Seeds pilot.
Consider this. Chris Parnell was originally cast as Irving Beaks. Had he been the father to Harvey Beaks, played by Max Charles, he'd've been cast as Max Charles's character's father twice considering the Netflix Peabody and Sherman cartoon.
I meant to mention this sooner, but for some reason NOTN was used in a promo for some telecom, either for a cable package or online streaming data or both. The ones with Will Forte talking about freedom. Ring any bells? Mainly because the gag was he was on a dogsled in the snow and the movie...
You'd expect a 46 year old program to stay exactly the same and keep the exact same cast as it did when it started out 46 years ago.
That's just sense.
Then they really shouldn't try and release a movie or two a month. I almost forgot Pete's Dragon was due out this year, next month too. I can't see them making back that money, even if the thing was low budget.
They lost millions with John Carter of Mars, The Lone Ranger (which they even...
While it doesn't seem likely to see another movie, losing a small amount of money on a Muppet project is much better than losing a lot of money on audience alienating stuff like BFG and Pete's Dragon.
Just throwing that out there.
Compared to NBC and CBS's sitcoms for the most part (Life in Pieces is actually quite good, and Big Bang's okay if you like Big Bang), ABC's still the cream of the crop.
Just making a couple obvious programs that aren't that interesting compared to their current line up.
While I like the idea...
There's rumblings that BFG's release date was chosen to basically screw Steven Spielberg, who had a serious level of infighting with Disney. This was the only Disney film directed by him, after all. And now if Indiana Jones 5 happens (which I don't think it should), they have a very awkward...
