A new Fraggle promo just appeared on the Hub website (and presumably is airing on TV now) called Ask a Fraggle, where Gobo and Red answer viewer questions ranging from Doozer towers to Bronies :smirk: :excited:
According to a recent post by the Muppet Mindset, quote: "Matt Vogel, the prime suspect, confirmed on Twitter that it is not him [performing Gobo]." Since he's currently in England filming the next Muppet movie, it couldn't have been Vogel unless it was filmed long in advance like the Count...
Honestly, I'm pleased that these recasts have come out as good as they are. Even if you'd consider them just imitations, I kind of find it fitting in that way since Jerry built much of his character repertoire on imitations.
I saw two different Hub promos for the upcoming FR marathon. The new Gobo sounded better than what I was expecting. It may not sound perfect, but I thought both the voice and puppetry were pretty good. Whoever that was obviously studied a lot of Jerry's performances, so kudos to him.
No video of the Easter Egg Roll performance has been uploaded yet, but TMZ (uck) leaked an impromptu video meeting with Elmo, performed in this instance by Ryan Dillon. Here's the article, which you should really check out just for the included video, unless you like getting riled up about...
Here's one of the few Sesame-related photos I could find of the event. I wasn't able to see it myself, but I'm putting this up just to prove that Elmo was indeed there. Hopefully, a video will turn up sooner or later.
I wouldn't necessarily count on Vogel performing Gobo, at least not in this case. With Vogel currently in England working on the next Muppet movie, not to mention Sesame in New York, and with this being shot (I guess) in California, I have a feeling Gobo is going to be recast to a more...
There was some discussion on the forum about the Count appearing in a video made exclusively for Obama's Inauguration back in January. I wasn't there, but if it was Vogel performing in that, then perhaps this was taped around the same time.
Eh, I was expecting some sort of congratulatory video. In my mind, an unaired classic sketch seems like something only fans like us would appreciate. I'm satisfied with what we got, and I'm especially impressed that Sesame was brave enough to revive the Count for this. I knew Matt Vogel would do...
The Big Bad Wolf; technically, Matt seems to be performing him as his own character rather than copying Jerry. The wolf was a bit annoying for me, frankly, but I guess that was the intention. Also, is it me or is Stephanie D'Abruzzo's Red Riding Hood character a reincarnation of Elizabeth?
I agree. Repeating Drtooth's sentiments, I would willingly buy it and watch it over two hours of Elmo's World
On a side note, does anyone else find it odd that the last EW DVD was released just this month and not last year, before Season 43 started airing?
After first seeing that group photo, I kinda think the movie should be re-titled "The Maniacal Muppety Tour" :D
Still, that group shot is wonderful; and promising since it's all-Muppets. I'm probably most surprised that Foo-Foo was included (apparently she no longer needs pet therapy, LOL.)...
I didn't see any new threads about this, so I'm creating one now. Yesterday's "From Broadway with Love" benefit concert in Connecticut featured an appearance by some Sesame Street characters; including the long-absent Grundgetta, and the even longer absent Herry Monster! That’s right, Herry...
It was definitely before. Kevin not only performed Elmo and a few other characters in the video, but according to Muppet Wiki, he directed it as well.

I would like to see "I Hope That Something Better Comes Along" complete and the audible Muppet dialogue during the end credits like it is on the UK cut, but I'm kinda skeptical those edits will be included (as extras, at the very least).
:D My eyes widened when I saw the message "Muppet Movie coming to Blu-ray" in my inbox, and further when I began watching the trailer. The picture quality is so sharp and colorful! I don't think the movie's ever looked this good. I can't wait to get this!!!
