What really made me laugh about this cartoon was how Clarence ate the entire cake whole, INCLUDING THE LIGHTED CANDLES! I imagined him saying. "It's my mouth thats on fire!"
And I also wish you a happy boithday Mokeystar! :) May you have a wonderful one! :)
I totally agree. :) I remember when Fraggle Rock first started, the Fraggles and Doozers didn't pay any attention to each other and Junior Gorg always wanted to thump the Fraggles and Doc didn't believe the Fraggles existed.
But as the series went on, some of the Fraggles and Doozers started...
I liked the Loretta Lynn episode where their regular theater got fumigated so they had to do their show in a new environment. A train station! They even had a different Muppet opening! :)
My favorite more and less skit was when this muppet girl opens up a door and these delivery muppets keep bringing in tons of stuff like flowers and candy and her boyfriend comes in singing how much he loves her MORE and wants to give her MORE. But the girl sings that she wants LESS and the...
I remember the classic J is for Jump cartoon with the J flinging paint at another poor J and then spells the word Joke. But did you know that there was a Spanish version of it too? It had the same animation, but with different music and the J words were in Spanish. And it ended with j a j a j...
I remember one cartoon they used to show a lot during the old days was this. We see a sky with some grass and flowers and then we look down and see a ladybug. Then some more ladybugs started coming from different directions and a narrator started adding them until there were 5 bugs. Then we...
I've noticed that Kermit refuses to sell out his frog relatives by advertising Doc Hopper's Froglegs. But Pepe seems happy to advertise fried shrimp for Long John Silvers. I guess that doesn't seem to bother Pepe that his kind is being fried and eaten.
Yep, the licorice did count as a long and short clip. :)
Another skit I liked was Kermit standing in the snow for he heard a report that somebody had been standing out in the snow for a long time. He asked every person that went by, but they only said they've been out for a short time...
My favorite long and short skit was this gas station manager who was a big blue muppet was busy shining up his pump until a green Muppet drove in with a classic looking car. He asked the manager to fill his car up with gas and hopes it won't take a long time. As the manager was filling up the...
My favorite heavy and light skit was when Kermit and Grover were showing us the difference between heavy and light. Kermit got to bring in some light stuff like a feather and a ping pong ball, while poor Grover had to carry a heavy piano and boulder. Then Grover insisted that he get the next...
I remember the Muppet Show first aired when I was 6 years old. At first I thought this show was a late night Sesame Street when I saw Kermit on it. But when I saw characters like Miss. Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Gonzo, I knew this was something different. The first episode I saw was when Kermit...
I remember in the Alphabet Chat L skit. 2 different versions were made. The first one I remember had Mr. Chatterly talking about the letter L. First Cookie Monster opened the window and asked Mr. Chatterly if he's seen his cookie. But then closed the window quickly. Then a repairman started...
One time, Harvey asks this guy. "Do you want a sticky?" The guy asks, "What's a sticky for?" And Harvey slams a 4 on the guy's shirt. "That's a sticky four!" He laughs out loud.
One time, Harvey was telling us his joke where he was gonna ask someone to give him 5 and he had a hand buzzer on...
I too feel like I'm a geek, which is why I can relate to Gonzo.
You know, I can just imagine all of us together playing Dungeons and Dragons with Gonzo as our Dungeon Master. That'd be fun. :)
