Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
I am still in awe about this DVD set. It's amazing how much stuff is being crammed into this thing: original notes, never-before-seen footage...wow.
Yes!! I was afraid that they couldn't use the word "Muppet" in anything related to Fraggle Rock (they certainly did that for most of the...
The Lark
Appears in "Doo Wop Hop"; it's actually a Fluter-Tooter puppet.
The Lead Police
I think this was from a non-commercial video that teaches the dangers of lead poisoning, but I'm not sure.
Jimmy, Jimmy's Dad, and Jimmy's Mom
"Things Are Always Changing"
I'm back from vacation! :)
And I've brought pineapples for everybody! :zany:
My current college schedule has about an hour of computer time per day, so I can visit more frequently (though much of the time would probably be used on studies...maybe. ;) ).
The only time I've seen this name used in in "The Works" book, but since Christopher Finch has a few other mistakes in the book (such as Kermit's debut as a frog in "The Frog Prince"), it's possible that someone mistook "Honker" as a misspelling of "Homer".
How do you suggest the Eggplant from SS be listed?
It depends; how did you list other Muppet foods? A lot of them are used over and over again, so they could be counted individually.
Should Google, Mel, Narf and Phoebe be reclassified under a "Monsters Clubhouse" heading? And is it...
Then mayhaps it'd be best to add it as "Elmo's World: The Eggplant".
He's only made one appearance on EW, but has appeared in other segments.
In which episode do we get the musical number "Doo Doo Diddum Waddam" sung by the Fish from TMS?
The Star Wars episode (it's the UK Spot).
Uh, is it "Gill Brothers" or "Gills Brothers"?
It's "Gills Brothers".
Me thinks all I have in the L's under "lizard" are Lenny the Lizard and The Lizard (from FR). So should the one from the jury be added as a new entry?
As "The Lizard" is a possibility.
The Wonderland Jury.
The Dutchess (Juror #1): We're agreed that this character should be added as a new entry right?
Yes, but not as a jury member.
The Dutchess's Baby/Piglet (Juror #2): Is this the same character Kermitage and I have listed as "The Piglet"? If so, then should that...
Earlier I asked if you could put in Yertle (from "Wubbulous World), perhaps to con the bikers into buying things to cheat with. Since you'd rather not use a Dr. Seuss character, then how about Leon (from JHH)?
There were two places for characters to sit; I'm not sure if both are for the jury. On the left (the Muppets Marvin strikes) are the Dutchess (a Whatnot woman, who can be a separate character, since in the UK segment she also sings. The puppet is also used as Klaus Mueller and Chris Rudolph.)...
As for the Miss Muffet sketch, should that be classified as "Miss Muffet Production"?
Just asking to see how best to add the sketch's tag for the individual entries.
Sounds good to me.
The Muppaphone Jury, these were the Muppaphones in the Brooke Shields TMS episode.
There were no Muppaphones; they were a bunch of spare puppets and "Wonderland" puppets (March Hare, Dutchess, etc.)
The Hugga-Wugga Creatures.
Should "The Hugga-Wugga Creatures" be separated into individual...
11) The Noseless Anything Muppets, from the song "Everything's Coming Up Noses".
should they be added?
Sure.
12) Should Miss Muffet and her Spider be separated into individual entries?
This was a Miss Piggy sounding Miss Muffet who had to add the velcro features to the spider who kept...
