Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
The monsters were from last year, when a female monster tried to teach her baby sister how to say "Tortellini", then eventually got the rest of the family to join in.
What about the Even Animals Have Skin Book, should it be added or not?
Hard to tell, since it's computer-animated.
a. Jack the Burro, from 4096.
The same puppet used for Eriberto, played by Noel MacNeal.
b. Grover's Mexican Singers?, from 4096.
All three (monsters) have been previously seen; a violin player (blue) was among those for the "Tortellini Monster" song (and on second thought, I think that...
You're welcome. :)
And if you've got more PWMS episodes, I'd be more than happy to trade with you again. (I was also wanting some of the more recent episodes that Noggin was airing, but now that those are off the network [ ] Comcast is my best bet with these.)
3 EW: Even Animals Have Skin Book, you say it's a CGI book... Should it be added or not?
He's not a CG puppet, like Waldo C. Graphic, but you also have Hero Guy (a cartoon alter-ego of Baby Bear) also listed, so I'm not sure.
5 Farley's gray kitten? He actually had a gray kitten? Where was...
There's been recent talk regarding the alphabet cast intro on the Season 4 premiere episode of SS.
Jeffkjoe has confirmed that Nancy was the name of the human child that appeared for the letter N.
So then, where did "Nat" come from? Is this another SS human child? DId such a named character...
1 Fido, Oscar's cat.
The Preposterous Puppy puppet with pointy ears instead of its usual floppy ones.
2 Adventures of Trash Gordon:
a. Humongous Space Bunnies, from 4095.
All of them were Benny Rabbit in a Roman helmet; the puppet was duplicated via camera work.
b. Planet Scram...
I forgot all about dual-layer discs! Thanks! :)
I liked GelflingWaldo's idea; a compilation of clips from five-season time periods. (1969-1974, 1974-1979, etc.)
Sounds like a good video. I was going to buy the VHS version (since the rest of my SS collection is on video), but with all those great bonus clips, I'm goin' for the DVD! The clips don't sound too bad; I'm used to all that 90's stuff now (though I can't stand some of the very repetitive stuff...
A) Each episode is an hour long, so only three episodes per disc can fit; that'd be 8 discs for a box set. Sounds like too many discs to me.
B) Maybe it's a test to see if other SW classic stuff can sell well. (I've got my fingers crossed for this one.)
Sounds like one of the best this season. Which version of "Dressed Up" did they use; the original with Joe Raposo, or the revised one with Ron Marshall doing vocals?
Oscar has a grouch cat? Poor (or lucky) Preposterous. :p
Right; I'm guessing that you learned of Jack from Xerus's recent fan-fiction (or somewhere else), but TSF is right; it's the same puppet, and the same character; we just had different names for him.
RALPH CRAMMED-ON (or "Ralph Crammedon")--a frizzy gray grouch with baggy eyes and wearing a dingy bus driver's uniform.
The Big Bad Wolf: The current one, from 4095, is the same one from 4082 (Season 35's finale). Should this be identified as a new character and duely added to the list?
I'm...
1 Guess I got Rozalyn's name spellec correctly then?
The only way I've heard it spelled is "Rosalind". I'll try to check the captioning for the episode.
2 MuppetDude, on 9/2 you posted in the ML 15.0 thread that Peter Piper showed up in a News Flash segment. Is this correct? Or did he never...
They're the same dog.
A note on the sharks: They also appeared together in the "Deborah Harry" episode, so they probably shouldn't have a specific entry besides "TMS".
