Looks great hemi. How do you manage to find all of this great stuff that you have? I hope I can do business with you depending on what your prices are or trading values amount to. Thanks a lot. ;)
I sent a message to the publishers at Black Dog & Leventhal last night and have recieved a message from them concerning the release date:
"The book will be shipping from our warehouse on Oct. 16th and should start showing up in accounts 1 1/2-2 weeks later. Thanks for your interest."
So...
Nice job with the update. It looks very good right now. There's just too many items I have right now that I have as well too many that I am looking for. If it is anything related to the Muppets, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, the Fantasy worlds of The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth, I'll take it...
Thanks hemi. There are soooo many other things that I want to add to my Henson collection. But I can wait long enough to add more stuff. It's not like I'm actually going to get everything overnight right? ;)
It just seems a little bit ridiculous to me that the seller even put a reserve on it in the first place. He/she should know that 98% of people right now can't really take the time to pay such a high amount for something that was only made 40-some years ago.
Maybe some day I will be able to...
Because Big Bird is my absolute favorite Sesame Street Muppet, I would have to say that anything with him is worth it. It's because of how Caroll Spinney manages to bring him to life and make him the most loved Muppet on that show besides Elmo. :wisdom:
Yeah. I've seen Rowlf more often then Kermit. But if anyone knows where I might be able to find either one of them, please let me know. Thanks.
By the way.... I seriously doubt the one on ebay right now will meet the reserve. I asked the seller about it a few days ago and they told me it is...
Right now, since we're talking about books and such, here is my own personal book want list as well:
-The Muppet Movie (1979)
-The Great Muppet Caper: The Making of a Masterpiece (1981)
-Fozzie's Big Book of Side-Splitting Jokes (1981)
-The Muppets at Sea (1981)
-Muppet Manners: or the...
The theme song looks excellent the way it was set up. As for the "Mad Men" parody, it was a thrill seeing Frank Oz being able to do an Anything Muppet again like he used to. Knowing that he is a busy man and does not rely heavily on his career with the Muppets, he is definately the kind of...
It's a shame that Gonzo and Animal didn't get too much time to talk with everyone, but it was still a wonderful perfomance from what I saw. Certainly a better appearance than AGT. :concern::halo:
I have the DVD's for the Mickey Mouse shorts with the Disney Treasures line, yet I still need to find the 1st one of his color shorts. I also have "On the Front Lines" and Disneyland U.S.A" in my collection. Great moments from Disney's glory days.
Despite the review of the bonus features and extended scenes, this is one Henson moment that I am adding to my video library. I think I'll wait and buy this along with the 40th anniversary Sesame Street DVD set around thanksgiving as it gets a little bit closer to the season. Looks promising though.
I recently just got a copy of "Miss Piggy's Aerobique Exercise Workout Album" lp in the mail today from ebay. It is a promo copy and contains the original poster that was sold with the album. Plays excellent too.:mad::mad:
I just discovered that Amazon.com and Muppet Wiki have the realease date wrong. It will be out on Novemeber 10th at retail shops as well as online. Hope that clears everything up for everyone reading this.
Here's wishing a fine birthday to one of the finest Muppeteers within the Henson company of players. And also a birthday wish to Kermit's creator, Jim Henson. :)
