I'm happy with my hardback/first edition of the book myself. I also got te audio CD set in the mail, and let me tell you, it is fantastic to hear Caroll Spinney tell us the story of the show that made history in the world of television/ :wisdom::grouchy:

Definately going to buy this with whatever money I get from relatives this Christmas. Looks like Sesame Workshop is really keeping fans like us on the edge of our seats right now.

I just try to remind myself that patience is a virtue. Like I said, I don't want to look through it again in any retail book shop until I see it underneath my tree this year. This is definitely the one thing that I want the most for Christmas I can tell you.

I am definately going to have to look at this when it comes on again tonight at 7pm in my hometown.

Looks like this is going to be a grand year for Sesame Street. With all the publicity and tributes going on around the country, it's obvious that the show is wel-loved to this day and will continue to be a part o everyone's world for children, parents, educaters, Henson enthusiests, etc.

I stopped off at Barnes & Noble yesterday to have another quick look at it for a second time. After that, I will not see it anymore until I get it for Christmas. I don't want to lose my anticipation for it. Luckily, all I've done is skim through it.

The "Jim Henson & Friends: Inside the Sesame Street Vault" sounds very intriguing. Anyone who goes to the event please provide some details about what went on. Thanks you. :)

Hope everyone has a good time at the event. It's amazing to hear the human cast members from Sesame Street talk about Jim and his characters besides the one's that are on their show.

Disneyland wouldbe a good choice for the next MuppetFest get-together. But I personally think that Disney World would be better since it is bigger and more people go there. But either one to me is fine enough. ;)

I agree with D.W. It is going to be quite a while until we get any specific details about this very big project coming up for the Muppets. We just have to be patient and give Disney credit for the fact that they are really starting to knuckle down and are bringing the Muppets back into the...

Yes there was a good amount of effort put into the animated version of the show. Unfortunately though, it just did not seem to meet the standards of the Fraggles that we all know and love so well. As Karen Prell had mentioned once, the animation had been done too quickly, which did not allow...

Sesame Workshop has deffinately pulled out the big guns for this set ever since they released the Old School sets.

I was a bit skeptical at first about some of the minor changes that are being made for the queue and the pre-show film. But I must say after looking at all of that new stuff, it actually looks good. Obviously Disney is doing their very best to keep Jim's legacy alive and well.
