Yeah, that was the one. :) I couldn't remember the name Grover asked, But I think it started with Mon... And I liked how one of the monsters in the booth went, "HI MOM!" :)
I think I remember on a TV special, I can't remember the name of it. It showed 4 famous ventriloquists at a restaurant table enjoying themselves. The ventriloquists were.......
Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop, Willie Tyler and Lester, Ron Lucas and Buffalo Billy, and of course Paul Winchell and...
Here are some things I loved growing up in the 80's.
The VCR came allowing me to tape things while I was away.
Video arcades with games like Pac Man, Donkey Kong, and Q*bert.
A video game can be found in almost every store and restaurant.
Colecovision, which was the best game system...
One skit that really makes me laugh was when Grover found an empty telephone booth. When he announced he finally found one, all these monsters shout, "AN EMPTY TELEPHONE BOOTH!" and they all crammed into it at once and Grover had to keep pushing them out.
It makes me wonder if they were...
I remember back in the 70's, Shari had her own show called The Shari Show. Shari worked in a TV station ran by puppets. There were characters like Lamb Chop, Mr. Bearly, Grizzly, Lionel, Dandylion, Brooklyn, Honey Child, Clip Clop the Donkey, Neville the Devil, Auntie Artica, Baby Doll, Lolly...
I would've loved to see that skit. Up Up and Away is one of my all time favorite songs. :sing:
I remember on the Muppet Show, Rowlf was about to sing that very song, he was at his piano and just as he sang, "Up Up and Away!" the candle holder sitting on his piano blasted off like a rocket...
I just heard about this tragedy the minute I came onto this board. I can't believe more terrorism is going on after what happened with Sept. 11th. All I can do is pray for the people of England and for the other people of the world, hoping one day that The Lord will return and make...
I remember that special where Herry was reunited with John-John. When Herry saw him in that uniform, he goes. "I guess they don't call you John-John anymore." Then they both started counting to 20 again like in the old days.
Did anyone see the two Hee Haw episodes where Big Bird and Oscar were guest stars?
The first episode had the gang at Slim Pickin's barbecue and Big Bird appeared. He said he gets nervous around barbecues, wondering if he's the main guest or the main course. Then Big Bird started singing a...
I remember one called Dirty Gulch where a green bearded AM Muppet sings about a western town where everyone just throws their trash on the ground making it the Dirtiest Town in the West.
Then a Bad Bart look-a-like named McClean rode into town and suggested they put the trash in a can. And...
You welcome. :)
When I first saw Bruno, I wondered why Oscar needed him. Oscar can walk on his own by either sticking his feet out of his trash or just going to places without his can.
I remember that cartoon too well. It starts off with some flowers and grass and a white sky. Then we shift down to the ground and we see a ladybug. Then another ladybug comes into the scene and a narrator says. "1 and 1 are 2", and someone whispers. "TWO!" Then more ladybugs enter the scene...
This next fic of yours is really great so far, Beau. It's good to find another Gonzo story. And your stories have lots of true emotion in them. :concern: I can feel what the characters are feeling whenever I read them.
I saw that scene where poor Kermit got beat up by those thugs for not paying his back rent on the theater. I wondered if J.P. Grosse hired those thugs.
Thank you for answering that. I figured there might've been a wire attached to Bruno's mouth.
I also remember Bruno's very first appearance. The SS adults saw a bunch of trash cans that haven't been picked up this morning. And they saw the local trashman, Bruno, coming by with a can. They...
That was an awesome story, Beau. :) Another story about the Muppet boarding house with Beauregard as the main character. And the ending was good too. Seeing them all safely back in the house and Beau wondering if it was all a dream. You have a great talent of writing, Beau. :)
I too wonder if the moon landing was a fake. And if there's really life on the moon. Like how the sci fi movies and TV shows from the 40s, 50s, and 60s show moon creatures visiting or invading Earth.
