Once again, Beau. You've written another great fanfic that takes place during that Xmas special. :) I liked how Uncle Matt studied the habits of the green slender creature. Very Christmassy. :)
Thanks Bear. :) Yes, Miss. Piggy found a way to defeat Elmo without having to harm him and make the fans satisfied as well. Otherwise, Elmo might've had to face Shadow in the final round.
Actually, I believe Telly is a kid. Just a little older than Elmo and Zoe. For I remember he tried to ride a pogo stick built for teenagers, but it was too big for him. And one time during the hurricane, Telly's was looking out the window and his mom called him over to dinner.
Hey Beau. Thank you for providing that link to us. It was great reliving that old story I only saw once in my life.
And I made a mistake, it was Anne Murray who was in that Xmas tree costume, not Maria. I'm glad my mind is all cleared on how that story went.
And yes, it would be great...
That was a wonderful heart-warming Christmas story, Beau. A fanfic about Waldorf and Statler, who joke with each other, but are dear friends. And Emily Bear's puns were good too. I liked how it connected with the Muppet Family Christmas special. :)
Battle of the Muppet All-Stars
By Cullen Pittman
Day 3
(We see Lewis and Newsman sitting at a box right next to a fighting arena.)
LEWIS: Welcome back, sports fans, to Day 3 of the Battle of the Muppet All-Stars. I am Lewis Kazagger.
NEWSMAN: And I’m your friendly neighborhood...
I think I remember seeing that other SS Xmas special when I was a little kid. But only once though.
Oscar had a bad attitude throughout all Xmas Eve. So the adults decide to do something about it. I believe Maria dresses up like a tree and tells Oscar she's a Xmas tree ghost here to show...
Actually, Brian also voiced the Newsman in the Muppet Party Cruise video game. I haven't reached his game yet, but I read in the credits that Brian had voiced him.
Please don't worry EleganceLiberty. I sometimes have posted mistakes on this board and almost ended up not wanting to come back. But I learned to overcome it and I'm still on this board. I hope you'll find your smile soon. :)
Xerus
Thanks again for more compliments. :)
Yes MuppetDude. I have thought about Rhonda Rat being one of the many announcers in this tournament. I've never seen Hoobs though, and I haven't really thought about putting the Dr. Seuss characters in this fanfic, since they're really Dr. Seuss's...
I liked the Muppet one where a purple AM Muppet in a leather jacket and a blonde mohawk wakes up from his bed, looks out the window, and sees a funky Letter L dancing on his lawn at night singing, "Luh, Luh, Luh!" The guy starts singing, "Rebel L!" A spoof of the song, Rebel Yell.
I remember posting something like this some time ago. Here are all of the names I remember Oscar using.
LUIS........Mr. Badwrench or Fix-it Face, which later became Mail-it Face.
WILLY THE HOT DOG MAN......Santa Claus
DAVID.......Sideburns or Twinkle Teeth
OLIVIA.......Braids...
Pretty amusing SS shorts. Just thought of an m one where a guy is next to a mailbox and says, "M. Mail." I think a mailman comes by and takes the mail and then puts him in the mailbox (whether on purpose or not I can't remember). I just remember the guy inside the mailbox groaning, "mmmmmm!"...
It seems like Miles and Gabi are the official teens of Sesame Street today. I can remember when Big Bird first saw them as babies. Now they've suddenly become older than him.
Thank you all for the wonderful comments and for sticking up for my story after one negative review. I guess everyone has different opinions about different things, so I won't let it get me down. All your praises WAY make up for that one bad one. :)
And BEAR, there are more...
