Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
I remember that episode. Telly had a trip calling Gordon, "Mr. Robbinson", all the time. Normally, kids aren't allowed to call adults by their first names. But the muppet kids seem to get away with it.
I remember in an episode back in the late 70's, Mr. Hooper ended up slipping on an oil slick and sprained his arm. The doctor put a splint on his arm. Later, Mr. Hooper practiced doing things with one hand like making a sandwich and locking his door. But he had a hard time writing on the menu...
Thank you. :)
Yeah, I wished this episode was included in the Sesame Street Unpaved series. The fans deserve to see that neat episode along with the Hawaii saga.
Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement. :) Maybe I will start up a web comic and if it gets popular, maybe someone will want to animate it.
Does anyone remember when the SS gang were on the game show, The Big Trip?
This was how they were able to afford to go to Hawaii. They were all in Hooper's Store watching TV and they learned the next big prize on the Big Trip was a trip to Hawaii. In order for them to be contestants, they...
Have you ever created a cartoon or a script or a screenplay or any kind of show at home and tried to get it sold?
All my life, I've created and drew original characters and ideas for cartoon series. A few years ago, I tried to mail my ideas to famous cartoon studios like Hanna-Barbera...
I loved all the Gamera series.
And I especially loved the short, Mr. B. Natural. About a musical elf who's supposed to be a guy, but is played by a pretty woman, teaches a teenage boy about music. It's really crazy. :)
My 5 favorite cartoon hotties are....
1. Kimberly from Space Ace
2. Sailor Saturn
3. Sailor Mercury
4. Wendy from Superfriends
5. Tara from Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
And I noticed that there are hardly anymore musical numbers in today's animated movies. Especially the CGI movies. Back in the old days, they had great original songs done to neat animation. Like, "Be Our Guest", "You Never Had a Friend Like Me", "The Phoney Prince of England", and "I Wanna...
Lately, they have been counting to 100 on Sesame Street. Only they're either counting by fives or by tens to 100 to make it faster.
A Zydaco band was singing a counting to 100 by fives song.
Kermit trained a frog to count to 100 by tens.
And there was a reality show called Joe Hundredguy who...
I remember suffering from an ingrown toenail a few years ago and had to keep my toe bandaged for a while. It wasn't fun.
But I pray that your foot will heal soon and things'll go back to normal for you.
AMEN!
I'd say my MC mentor is Beauregard. He wrote such a great fanfic about the Muppet Beauregard that it inspired me to write my own Muppet fanfics as well.
I onlyknew Rosewood for about a couple of months and she was a really nice person. We even did a video trade. I just can't believe she's gone. -_-;; I won't forget her and I pray for her and her loved ones as well.
AMEN!
