Yep, before there were the Simpsons, Nancy had voiced Daffney. And Alan Oppenheimer took over voicing Governor Wetworth when Frank Nelson passed away during the series. Yes, both actors were great at voicing the sometimes arrogant governor of Snorkland.
XERUS'S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS:
This week's V/A focus is about the Snorks. An 80's cartoon about creatures who were like the Smurfs, only they were underwater creatures with snorkels on their heads.

Yes, The Letter People was a favorite show from my youth. My favorite characters were Mr. S, Mr. N, Mr. F, Mr. V, and Mr. R who went on a wild three part outer space quest.
The only problem was this series came on during school so I could only catch the episodes either if I was sick and had...
That sounds like a neat idea. Mixing Muppets with Letter People. Here are some more ideas.
Maybe the Swedish Chef can help Mr. D make Delicious Donuts. Mr. D gets shocked at the Chef's method of tossing dough and shooting holes through them with a gun.
Miss. I goes to Vet's hospital to...
I remember I used to love that Daffy Duck's Fantastic Island Movie. Which was a parody of Fantasy Island. Another great series.
And I liked that 80's reference Speedy used. "We could wish for E.T. to get home."
Lately I've been finding rare classic animated movies either at conventions...
Muppets From Space is my favorite Muppet Movie, for the following reasons.
1. It was all about Gonzo.
2. We learn what kind of creature Gonzo is.
3. It takes place in modern times.
4. The Muppets are playing themselves and not other characters.
5. I like the thought of a Muppet boarding...
I have Journey Back to Oz on video.
The amazing cast of this movie were....
Milton Berle as the Cowardly Lion
Herschel Bernardi as Woodenhead
Paul Ford as Uncle Henry
Margaret Hamilton (who played the original Wicked Witch) as Aunt Em
Jack E. Leonard as the Signpost
Paul Lynde as...
I do so want to see that six silly sailors cartoon someday. I remember it when I was a kid. Here's what I remember a little. We see the familiar one wheeled box rolling across a tightrope while circus music played. And out of the box popped a seal with a clown hat. He had an Edd Wynn like...
I thought was sad was when Cookie Monster ate up and destroyed Ernie's pillow leaving his bed pillowess and covered with feathers while Ernie cried. Now Ernie won't be able to sleep.
I remember seeing lots of different sequels of the Wizard of Oz.
Filmation's Journey Back to Oz, which also featured Pumpkinhead and Mombi, but in a different story.
The Oz anime series where it has some of the similiar stories from Return to Oz like the powder of life and the ornament...
XERUS'S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS:
Hi everyone. I decided to get back to posting my voice artist focuses. But I'm doing something different. I'm picking a show and giving you the voice credits. This week's show is the Smurfs. A delightful Hanna-Barbera show about little blue creatures from the...
Hey, guess what?!!
Somebody posted the rare classic skit, The Mr. and Mrs. Game on youtube. :) The one where Guy was the host and Mr. Beautiful Day and his wife were the contestants. A big thanks to Mokeystar for letting me know about it.

I loved the Letter People ever since I was a little kid. The only problem was they came on during schooltime and I was only able to catch the episodes on snow days, teacher workdays, or when I was sick.
Thankfully, I was able to get all 60 episodes on video from an eBay auction. That was a...
If anyone has that classic S cartoon about a seal telling a story of silly sailors, can you please post it? I've been wanting to see that long lost favorite SS cartoon of mine.
Here are the answers to the rest of the numbers.
13 - A guy pushes a 13 to the left like it was heavy.
14 - A reporter with a mike was interviewing a 14.
19 - A man in front of a monitor was dialing a 19 onto the screen.
I think the last best year was Slimey's trip to the moon saga. After that, they took away around the corner and flooded the last fifteen minutes with Elmo's World squeezing out room for more classic and new SS skits and cartoons.
