Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

I really liked the last two episodes. Especially where there's no Elmo's World yesterday and showed more new and old classic clips. And I liked the doctor show Grover put on. And that injured A who kept saying A words driving Grover crazy. And I liked the Deal or No Deal skit too. Imagine...

Nope, Brian Cummings voiced Doofus. But in the second season, Doofus ended up becoming a silent background character.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

I liked the new opening theme and the new closing theme as well. They got rid of that hashed animated closing theme. And that new guy, Chris, seems pretty cool. I liked how since he was new to SS, he was surprised at the Count's counting methods and his thunder storms, the dancing elephant...

What Really Happened to the "Around the Corner" set? (literally)

I've noticed where Around the Corner used to be lies a white Volkswagon. And the subway that was once part of Around the Corner had been moved right next to the Fix-it Shop. Still, I think they should bring back the Furry Arms Hotel. Lot's of interesting stories came from that place. Maybe...

    Tongue twisters

Here are some of my own tongue twisters. Vile Kyle likes Lively Violet. The plumber's paper plate. The rocky wobbly road. The shrew sees his shadow. Clumps of clutter.

Yes, Disney sure knows how to select voices for their characters. And Russi Taylor does a great job with Strawberry Shortcake along with Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, and Baby Gonzo. :)

    Ducktales voice artists

Yep, Peter did Bankjob Beagle. The tall and muscular Beagle who acts as leader whenever Bigtime isn't around. A fact. Usually the regular Beagle Boy group are Bigtime, Burger, Bouncer, and Baggy with Ma Beagle showing up on occasions. While on other shows, the lesser known Beagle group who...

    Ducktales voice artists

Thank you. :) I believe Rob Paulsen did Gladstone Gander. He only appeared in two episodes. I think Frank Welker did Megabyte Beagle who appeared two times in a 5 part story. And I don't know who did the voices of the rest of the characters you mentioned. But I believe Chuck does do the...

XERUS'S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS: Since there have been quite a few posts about Uncle Scrooge, I decided to make Ducktales my next V/A focus. Scrooge was voiced by Alan Young, who played Wilbur on Mr. Ed. Alan also voiced Scrooge in the Mickey's Christmas Carol cartoon and still voices Scrooge in...

Any Carl Barks Fans Out There?

My Dad had been a long time fan of the Uncle Scrooge comics even before I have ever read them. And I'm starting to like them a lot too. And I've been getting the classic comics for him on his birthday, Christmas, and Fathers' Day. :)

    Speaking of Mickey Mouse....

Actually, Ludwig made an appearance on Ducktales, regular appearances on Bonkers and Quack Pack, and then started appearing on Mouse Works, House of Mouse, and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

    Spaceballs: The Animated Series

I can't wait to see this series since I loved the movie so much. :) And it looks like Daphne Zuniga, who originally played Princess Vespa in the movie, will be one of the voices in this cartoon series.

The Disney afternoon of our youth

It almost seems like they wanted Bonkers to be more like Goof Troop where a funny guy like Bonkers drives a big guy like Lucky crazy. And Lucky's wife and daughter kind of remind me of Pete's wife and daughter.

The Disney afternoon of our youth

I liked the Disney channel Bonkers series where he was partnered with a woman cop named Miranda. But when it started airing on regular TV, Bonkers was given a different partner. A family man detective named Lucky. And the show wasn't as good as the Disney channel series.

    Any Mickey Mouse character fans?

Has anyone ever seen the cartoon, House of Mouse? It's about Mickey and the gang running a night club where lots of Disney characters hang out. You get to see all the old and new Disney characters like Snow White, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Aladdin, Winnie the Pooh, Timon and Pumbaa, and lots more...

    Sally Struthers

XERUS'S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS This week, I'm focusing on Sally Struthers who played Gloria on All in the Family. She was also famous for voicing the teenage Pebbles Flintstone as well as the voice of Charlene Sinclair from the Jim Henson series, Dinosaurs. She could do teenage voices really...

    Any Mickey Mouse character fans?

I kind of like Scrooge McDuck. My Dad also likes him too. Even though Scrooge is cheap and likes money a lot, he still has a good heart and loves his family.

The Disney afternoon of our youth

I remember the Disney Afternoon started out with Gummi Bears, Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, and Talespin. And they had this opening where the Disney characters jump off a storyboard and get painted to some cool music. Darkwing Duck was part of the group, but his show hadn't aired yet and Gosalyn...
