    Victoria Carroll

XERUS’S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS: After doing a V/A focus on Michael Bell, I’m now doing a V/A focus on Michael’s wife, the actress Victoria Carroll. Those of you who’ve watched the sitcom Alice, you might’ve seen Victoria’s role as Marie, Mel’s girlfriend. Victoria has voiced quite a few cartoon...

    Meet my newest Puppet :)

I like that puppet of yours. :) He kind of reminds me of those two Sesame Street Muppets with half furry bodies who ran around and took turns reciting the alphabet.

Bolt, from the S*N*O*W*T*H Rant Files

I was reading in a Curtis comic strip a few weeks ago where Curtis was in a sandwich shop and he meets two sandwich making guys who were once Disney animators. They were angry because when Disney switched to CGI, a lot of the animators got fired including them.

    Michael Bell

When I heard Stokey speak, I thought he sounded a lot like Michael Bell and I found it was when the credits rolled. :) I like Chas from Rugrats. The way he looks and acts like his son, Chuckie. :) Also check this out. It's a film where Michael Bell is at a Transformers convention and...

    Saturday Morning memories thread

I have found some hope for Saturday mornings. Right now, I'm getting into this new cartoon series from Australia called Animalia. A CGI series about two kids who end up in a world of talking animals. It has the kind of things I like in a cartoon. Where kids end up in strange fantasy lands...

    Saturday Morning memories thread

I remember it took many years for just Cartoon Network to come to my cable station and another long time for Nicktoons and Boomerang to come also. It does seem like the hot new cartoons are starting to air on rare cartoon channels these days.

    R. I. P Isaac Hayes

I'm wondering if the South Park guys will at least do a tribute to Isaac Hayes or his character, Chef, in a future episode.

    Michael Bell

XERUS’S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS: A week ago, Michael Bell had turned 70, so I’m making him today’s V/A focus. Michael was an actor and voice artist who had performed a lot of characters for many years. You might’ve seen him as a bunch of different aliens in the Star Trek series. Michael was...

The "What Are You Eating Right Now?" Thread

I just had a new treat. It was a piece of nutty buddy chocolate pie. It was a pie with a chocolate crust and filled with cheese cake and peanuts. It wasn't bad.

    The Chipmunks' Triumphant Return

I remember back in the 80's when Hardee's restaurants sold Alvin and the Chipmunks glasses. There were 4 of them and they featured Alvin, Simon, Theodore, and the Chipettes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRP6w619Hwo

    Greg Burson, R.I.P.

XERUS’S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS: I just heard that Greg Burson had died this July 22, 2008. Greg Burson is not to be confused with voice artists Gregg Berger or Greg Berg. They’re three different people. When Mel Blanc and Daws Butler passed away, Greg Burson started to voice their characters for...

2 Classic Hanna Barbera films finally come to DVD

I loved those movies as a kid. A Man Called Flintstone had a great story and neat songs. And Hey There, it's Yogi Bear was a good movie too and it also had neat original songs as well. Two Hanna-Barbera masterpieces. :batty:
