Alright, enough b:eek: tchin' about a channel you don't have to watch (though I do agree with most of your points).
I worked my butt off making that schedule and I want praise! Praise, darn it, praise! Bow down to the ultimate Disney-Muppet network! Praise! Recognition! Criticism! Disgust...
You know what? I've been thinking of something. If it's indeed true that the Creature Shop is no longer a Henson division, and, when EM.TV sells Henson and repays their loan, well, since EM.TV has paid the money it borrowed, could THEY actually keep the Creature Shop if they wanted to?
Who would I not want to see within 20,000 miles of the Muppets? Hmmmm...Thomas Haffa. And he wouldn't want to be within 20 YARDS of me.
As for celebrities, Prince. I just don't like Prince (though he was OK in Muppets Tonight, I guess).
Exactly. I can't really blame Frank Oz for expanding his horizons. It's not like the Muppets have been extremely active the last couple of years. Sure we had the stuff last year, but besides those, what could Frank Oz as Piggy do? Hollywood Squares? Other small talk show appearances with nothing...
I still think even if EM.TV did find a buyer for Henson (of which there are only 2 or 3) by the end of this month, I still think by June 5, we'll still won't have a complete sale.
But I'm just a negative thinker. :sympathy:
Well, the one on STARZ Family had a make-up artist "transform" Kermit into Young Kermit. It also had the toad talking to Croaker about Coppola and Madonna or pre-Madonna. Is that on the VHS and/or DVD?
To those who saw "Kermit's Swamp Years" on STARZ Family in August, is the short "making-of" that preceded it on the VHS or DVD? The reason I ask is that I might record over my copy of it tonight, so if you can help, write back soon.
Thanks.
Hey, I still WANT it to happen (as long as ALL Muppets are involved), but I don't want to get my hopes up so much. I had officially lost hope and almost moved on in early Dec. after those four suitors were eyeing Henson. Then on Dec. 19, Disney came in with their "upcoming" $135 million bid...
To Luke:
We plan to air 2 episodes of the U.K. shows within each half-hour block.
To stgebaby:
Of course there's no chance. I just think it would be cool if the classic Disney shows and the best of the Henson library were on one network. I wrote this schedule on the week of Mar. 17-21...
NOTE: This is NOT real.
My fellow Disney and/or Muppet lovers. What if Disney made a channel showing their most beloved classics. And what if they, soon after a purchase of Jim Henson Co., wanted to make a network showing the best of the Jim Henson library, but there wasn't enough to make up...
