Yeah Barkley's so adorable, it made so sense to get rid of him. Unless maybe they just couldn't find a new performer (it always looked like such a difficult task!)
It's polls like that that should be paid attention to. They represent the real world as opposed to the manufactured concepts...
Well like how in Big Bird in Japan, he's all frantic when they miss the tour bus and sort of freaks out:
"They have our plane tickets and everything! I don't even have hardly any money! Do you have any money? !
::Barkley shakes head::
"Oh of course not, you're a DOG!"
Lol, or in Big...
You know I wasn't that into Big Bird as a child, he was just the main character (if there was a main character back then). But lately seeing all of his separate DVDs again (China and Japan etc), I really enjoy how he can be so sweet one minute and then so frustrated and annoyed the next, hehe.
The results of the original poll definitely make sense to me; from what I've seen most people remember Cookie Monster and Oscar the most and very fondly. :insatiable: :grouchy:

Oh ok yeah I understand, you should take pride in your work. :)
Yeah I mean I don't want to me too sensitive or PC (Heaven forbid!). Just that not enough attention is ever given to that and this puppet just happens to fall in the middle of all that. (I suppose I should be more angry at the...
Yeah really, I mean we can only speculate; maybe a permanent performer just hasn't been settled for Scooter.
I personally would be happy if Johnny was nowhere near this, heh. But that's just me. ;)
I like Pepe and everything, he can be very cute, hehe. I just think the writers are realizing there is a need for balance. They've tried introducing new characters to get a new fanbase, and I think perhaps now they're trying to give Jim's characters a chance in the same area. :)
I also don't think it would be a good idea. SS has already had to sacrifice a lot of itself in order to stay afloat. Disney would change things even more.
