So am I. ;)
Granted. But frankly even those one hit wonders from 40 years ago had more talent than a lot of the major players today. And didn't have to resort to cheap thrills to get an audience. ;)
No offence but just because you personally haven't heard of them doesn't mean they're not important. ;)
I do agree with that. A big reason actors and artists come across well on these kinds of shows is because of the writing.

"Clearly more pizza and French fries in schools is not good for kids, but it's good for companies that make pizza and French fries"
Very telling, heh.
Because the company that owns the show doesn't make a profit from you downloading it. Show business is a business; it's to make money. ;)
It's hard to tell. I heard Pelosi and a couple others don't like it; they want a bill that's more balanced. Just have to see.
I think children today would learn a lot more about talent and art by watching the original Muppet Show's guest stars. I'd much rather have my kids watch actors and musicians known for their significant and lasting impact on pop culture, than some flavor of the month bubble gummers. ;)
We are...
I think I connected with that line as a child because it's the kind of tone you hear a lot from adults (not that I was constantly taking things that didn't belong to me, hehe). ;)
Yeah see from what I understand, bills are rarely outright "defeated." They're either passed or just quietly die in committee. That's one reason why that first story seemed odd. Plus it's such a new bill, it would be unusual for it to be decided on so quickly.
I'm seeing a couple of sites saying that the story about the bill being defeated was indeed a hoax.
If you guys go to the House Judiciary Committee site there is a webcast of the hearing from yesterday (see below). Nothing has been decided either way. (Not yelling at you Sgt. Floyd or anything...
How about taking neither? ;)
All we're doing is going back and forth. The Repubs come in and screw up so we bring in the Dems. The Dems come in and screw up so we bring back the Repubs and then back to the Dems. It's insanity and we have no right to complain when we keep it going like this.
I have to admit, I miss the pizza jokes, lol.
As far as this special, it made sense that they picked Michelangelo, he was like the cute little mascot of the group, lol.
Obviously every situation is different, but I think the recent Netflix debacle has demonstrated that companies can and will listen when consumers make their voices heard (i.e. We won't use you anymore unless you give us what we politely demand. ;)).
