Frank Oz worked on a new Muppet movie script

They were about producing quality. The quest for moderization doesn't always include that. ;)

What the "Stop Online Piracy Act" could mean for us USA folks...?

Story of America. The richest country in the world except that only a handful of people ever see the wealth.

Cartoon all stars to the rescue.

I can't believe I didn't think of this one before but the actor who played Doc on Fraggle Rock, Gerry Parkes, once guest starred on Today's Special, in an episode about alcoholism. It's actually quite disturbing because he becomes really cruel to the little mouse character who finds out about...

Frank Oz worked on a new Muppet movie script

Wait, this guy's kids love the classic Muppet shows but he's still positive the Muppets need to be changed and modernized? It's like people are conditioned to believe this "modern is better" nonsense even when presented with proof to the contrary! I still want to see the film, but NOT because...

What the "Stop Online Piracy Act" could mean for us USA folks...?

Well I don't deny that. Sadly it wouldn't be the first time technological advancement was put on hold due to bad economies and greed.

What the "Stop Online Piracy Act" could mean for us USA folks...?

That's why the future really needs to be online, where people are able to have more control over what they want to see. If the companies can find a way to make that work for the customer and for them that would be ideal. Yeah that can't really be argued with.

    Bringing you the Truth...

Not to me. As a woman, I have zero respect for Hillary for staying with such a jerk of a husband. Especially to forward her career. It's insulting to women and set a poor example to young girls. Our usual argument, DrTooth, there is no lesser of two evils in politics. ;) "No man can serve God...

    Bringing you the Truth...

I agree about Gingrich, but the idea that Clinton "stayed" with his wife is laughable, heh. It was all political. I was just rediscovering episodes of that '80s kids show Today's Special, and there was this one episode about a greedy rich kid who declares he's taking all the toys in the store...

Thoughts: A new modern version of THE MUPPET SHOW on Disney Channel?

I just don't think we're going through an entirely normal cycle. I think there is a downward trend and I'm not sure it's going to fix itself anytime soon. The money isn't being spent to create quality shows; it's all going to Reality because it's cheaper. Even with the quality shows that are...

Thoughts: A new modern version of THE MUPPET SHOW on Disney Channel?

Well at this point we're just getting into personal preference. I just never got into Seinfeld. ;)

Dad hears a "racial slur" on Fraggle Rock

Yeah but if the guy actually, you know, watched the episode he would have seen that that didn't make any sense within the context of the scene. ;)

    The RHLC!

I don't expect it to be as good as the original films, I'm just hoping to at least have a good time watching it. ;)

Fake news article about SS being scary for kids!

I was scared of things that weren't intended to be scary, like that claymation chair that kept bumping into things. I ran out of the room every time it came on and had nightmares about it, lol.

Thoughts: A new modern version of THE MUPPET SHOW on Disney Channel?

The entertainment industry is guilty of it more so now than in the past. As we said before, a lot of it depends on if the writing for the guest star is good or if it just continues the industry's steady decline.

Your Thoughts: Jason Segel and The Muppets on Saturday Night Live November 19

What would it take for you to stop watching current episodes?

The future is on the Internet, not Television. I'll be directing my kids to the Sesame Street clips on the official website where quality entertainment won't be censored for the terrible crime of being "dated." Or on the classic DVDs. In other words, I won't let what my children see be...

Thoughts: A new modern version of THE MUPPET SHOW on Disney Channel?

The talent part was my opinion, yes. But the cheap thrills part is pretty much fact, sadly.
