The one thing I liked about A Very Special Sesame Street Christmas was the bit about the snow plow pushing the snow back in front of the stoop, I've definitely been there, lol.
I acknowledge that The Muppet Movie is the strongest of the films, but my favorite has always been Muppets Take Manhattan. It's so emotional, gorgeous soundtrack, and is oddly grown up the way in the way it explores show biz and Kermit and Piggy's relationship. Plus I love any movie about NYC. :)
You're right; laughter is often more contagious in crowded theaters. I guess because you feel the security that you're not the only one who's laughing, hehe.
