What songs scared you as a kid?

Yeah the first time I saw the Windmills of Your Mind sketch was isolated on the World of Jim Henson documentary and it terrified me. I guess the whole idea of the creature not being able to stop and all freaked me out. But a few years later I saw the actual Muppet Show episode and strangely I...

New Muppet movie in development for potential 2013 release

I have no preferences beyond it being well written and well edited. :)

    Favorite Muppet Couples

Still Janice does look a bit shocked when Floyd kisses her after the "Act Naturally" song. Maybe she and Piggy have a bit more in common than they realize, hehe.

Yeah I feel like if Floyd tried playing hard to get, Janice would just say, "Like, your loss buddy, fer sure!" Lol :flirt:

    Favorite Muppet Couples

Lol, well I meant more in the original Muppet Show universe. You know we're always wondering whether Kermit and Piggy got married, nobody asks about Floyd and Janice, though I personally suspect marriage is too conventional for them, lol.

I always wonder if Piggy was a little jealous there. I mean even the two hippie weirdos managed to get together, meanwhile she and her man are still singing "I Won't Dance," lol.

    Favorite Muppet Couples

I agree, gotta be Floyd and Janice. :sing: :flirt: I love how they became such a great team when Richard took over. Floyd needed someone to bounce his "hip talk" off of, and support him when the show got too square. Zoot is too, um, out of it, heh. Animal needs looking after, to say the least...

Ask A Muppet: Kermit responds to fans on Disney Movie Rewards

I admit I don't keep track of all the interviews and appearances so yeah it's definitely possible that there are high points as well lately.

Ask A Muppet: Kermit responds to fans on Disney Movie Rewards

The thing is that was only one aspect of a multi-layered personality. More recently it's the only aspect we get to see.

Ask A Muppet: Kermit responds to fans on Disney Movie Rewards

I think she finally came across well in The Muppets (2011). But yeah some of the TV appearances do remain a bit one dimensional. She still kinda treated like a joke and sadly I think it's partially the weight thing. We haven't come that far as a culture.

Ask A Muppet: Kermit responds to fans on Disney Movie Rewards

That is pretty much what happened with the Muppets in general in the '90s and early 2000's.

    90s Shows

I'm going to go with '90s Nickelodeon. As many fans have said, it was all about being weird and quirky back then, as opposed to teeny bopper of the month. Salute Your Shorts Pete & Pete Hey Dude Are You Afraid of the Dark? Roundhouse

Do you have a catch phrase?

Reminds me of the behind the scenes footage on the Sesame Street DVD where Jerry and Richard are rehearsing with the Two Headed Monster. Jeff Stone tells him they're supposed to be looking at a telephone and wondering what it is and Richard had the puppet look at the phone and say, "Hubba wha...

With the Muppets there's canon and then there's canon. Basically there's canon for whatever you want to think, lol.
