    Forgetful Jones Question

Only thing is by the end of the show you start wondering why they haven't taken Forgetful to a freakin doctor by now! I mean seriously this guy needs help, not guessing games! Lol. ;)

Anyone worried about the next generation?

Oh yeah and I did basically say that. Just saying that I think there is a middle ground in our lives between being an insecure conformist young person and a complacent grown up.

    Question about The Muppet Movie

Yeah there's sort of two schools of thought there and both are fine, it depends on your experience. I grew up almost immediately knowing about the behind the scenes stuff so that in a weird way became part of the magic for me, lol. But yeah not everyone is the same. :)

    Question about The Muppet Movie

Actually The Invisible Man from 1933 pretty much helped pioneer what would become today's blue screen effects.

    Question about The Muppet Movie

I always thought that looked something like a blue screen effect, like when the Muppet performers would dress in black. Can anyone confirm?

I think humanity likes having their social values reinforced on television. ;)

    Forgetful Jones Question

Yup I own that one, it's wonderful! Forgetful Jones is always very sweet, you feel sorry for him and want him to succeed. Elmo actually comes across very well because he's working with an ensemble as the younger monster and it really works.

    The Priceline Negotiator

I'll be honest I've been wondering the same thing. My Dad thought I was crazy, lol.

Anyone worried about the next generation?

I think there are times when it's useful to be young and other times when it's useful to be older. Teenagers are always associated with rebellion but in fact teenagers are often some of the biggest conformists around (no offense to the teenagers here, just in general, lol). It's a very insecure...

Anyone worried about the next generation?

I hope they're right, that would be great. I just wonder how many cases were simply that the baby wasn't born, if you follow me. Don't want to get into a huge debate, just saying.

BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

Well then all I can do is paraphrase the master: Ladies-of-the-evening are entering the kingdom of Heaven before us. ; ) And I'm not particularly an Anne Hathaway fan but I can think of many movies where she didn't play a prostitute.

    Any recommendations for visiting NYC?

Aw that's OK, yeah that's the only drawback to museums, lol. I still have to get to the Guggenheim one of these days though, I hope you enjoy!

BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

That word is used to insult and degrade women. It is not a cleaner version of a nasty word. It IS the nasty word. And again do you know about that play?

BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

Again I'm sorry if this seems harsh but on what planet is that word in any way clean? It's a vulgar insult term. Do you know the story of Les Misérables? It's hardly smut.

BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

I can't believe I'm getting into this, lol, but the character she's playing in Les Misérables is a prostitute for a time out of desperation. That is the most matter-of-fact and non-insulting term I can think of. The word you used is not in any way clean and again very disrespectful. Again no...

BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

First no offence but that's a disrespectful term for women. Second, Not all musicals are glitzy and happy. Some musicals represent real life, including the ugly side of things.
