JHC has just been in kind of a sorry state. I see a lot of Sid dvds, but does the show get good ratings? I guess its pretty well received. Couldnt get into Dinosaur Train...to me it doesnt light a candle to Chuggington, which for some reason I absolutely love. Yeah JHC without a flagship...
The early 2000's was really the high point of good quality action figures in kid's meals, the kind that would now cost $8 a pop. Mcdonalds dreamworks toys are kind of hollow and lame, and theyre 2007 TMNT figures sucked. but man...2001 monsters inc, so amazing. i remember at one point burger...
Well most Nintendo merch collectors don't really consider Pokemon a Nintendo universe franchise(I mean it is, but its like many Muppet fans who don't consider Elmo part of Muppetdom...err maybe thats just me) Pokemon to me is its own universe. I am right with you, Im a huge lover of all things...
Nice! Kids need a new all original JHC PUPPET(not cgi) show. I thought Animal Jam was too odd for most kids, and sadly it's been awhile since the amazing Bear in the Big Blue House last aired.
Terrible name, but great looking puppets and theme. This is one of those rare times the public can see real Muppets performed live and in person, so I definitely hope someone camcorders this. Also...wait a second, some of those puppets look familiar:)
I will definitely be purchasing a DS game if they make it. I reallly wanted to like the GBA games, but they were essentially slapdash mini games(I did love the pinball one though)
I also will be buying any illustrated books or official Disney magazines...just, I can't see myself buying a...
Any chance ya guys could toggle the dimensions of the forum or the spacing of posts? I admit, after playing around a little bit with it, I like the integration and some other things about it. Admittedly, 2002 MC forum got a bit stale. Just as people noted, a few things would help make the forum...
I was just saying you probably haven't realized that part of Pokemon's newer regained popularity is college kid nostalgia...I know, late 90's nostalgia already? blechh. But Im on facebook, I go to a lot of conventions, I check out forums...college people in their 20's, especially girls love "150...
Funny, Pokemon is huuuuge with the older nerd crowd now. All the college kids at big cons I go to dress up like pokemon catchers or have their pokewalkers on them. Its a lot better than all the cgi kids garbage in America.
Dude, yes! With Pepe as Salacious Crumb! I'm surprised Rizzo Yoda isn't included with this wave. (I hope they do other waves!)
I just hope Disney does a full line in this scale for the rest of the Muppets, like what we see with the Star Wars toy line thats been going on since the 90's(imagine...
I think I figured out what this new forum reminds me of...the editing portion of wordpress/tumblr/blogspot. I at least love how we can FINALLY post pictures, for a decade that annoyed me that that was turned off. But I'd really hate if anyone left or stopped coming as often because of the format
Um, yeah that doesn't like too much of a connection there Dr Tooth:)
Honestly, I've been using ebay since 1997 and I just haven't seen evidence of most the Diz park merch going for too much over price point. **** I often see it undercut. I got the whole SW pvc pack from 2008 for $18(and that...
Heh, I still sometimes conflate Obama with Osama when I'm tying fast. When I start referring to Statler and Waldorf as "those two old guys in the balcony, err come on, you know who I'm talking about" then you know I've lost it.
Aw, ok I forgot these were theme park exclusives. Hmmm. Well I...
Amazing to finally see these, and hopefully they'll make a lot of Muppet figures from the new movie in this scale
But two big issues:
$19 for two 4" figures??? Is this how far down inflation lane we've gone?
Also what is up with Kermit? I dig the look of Sam, Link, Camilla...Piggy and Fozzy...
Already working on quite a snazzy one:) I've been doing graphic design, comic art, illustration, etc for ages...but I never quite got into the whole indie rock album cover/Urban Outfitters/hipster/threadless design look. Virtually all their designs look the same, and have that same minimalist...
For some reason Gonzo looks back to normal for me. As I swear in the Muppets Kitchen and and movie press shots Gonzo's eyes and facial build looked really odd. But in the two teasers he looks normal again, hmmm.
I hope they keep up the teaser spoofs, even if they don't always hit their mark. I...
Dwayne makes a good point. I've thought about how by this summer, you're going to have a tidal wave of new and old fans coming here, and we want to have the most inviting and easy to use forum. Yes, some may only post once and then leave, or lurk temporarily. But gotta have the best foot going...
It's interesting how virtually everyone on the planet visually can recognize at least a few Muppet or Sesame characters...and pretty much every single person in North America knows who the Muppets are and may have their favorite one. So many people light up and smile when they see me with a...
Phil, I love ya...but this new look is(to paraphrase a popular modern net meme) "meh". However, I do agree that after 9 years maybe a facelift was in need. Even in 1998 I didn't care for the Delphi forum, so MC circa 2002 was a welcome addition. This has an odd kind of crammed look to it, may...
