"Peanuts" movie in development for November 2015 release

Agreed, but remakes just rarely manage to capture the spirit for me. At that point it's a totally different franchise now surviving, not the original. The original is still being forgotten.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

OK I admit the idea of a Muppet service dog is kinda adorable, lol.

    Things you miss

Plus Linda was a grown up who was able to go to the writers and really insist she be written with a personality. If you don't stand up for yourself, no one else will. But obviously a little girl isn't necessarily in a position to do that.

Romney wants to cut funding for PBS and Sesame Street

And if PBS was more conservative leaning it would be the Democrats threatening to pull the plug. There is no loyalty here on either side. It's party interests and frankly, it's dirty money. It's tragic that PBS even needs gov't support.

Romney wants to cut funding for PBS and Sesame Street

I am proud of Sesame Workshop. The Democrats aren't actually defending them; they're just looking out for their interests and saying what they think their voters want. That's what the Republicans are doing too. I'm sure it's tempting for Sesame Workshop to take a side to protect itself, but in...

Romney wants to cut funding for PBS and Sesame Street

Yup, lol. I think they're smart to stay above the fray. Big Bird shouldn't become someone else's mascot/pawn. Indeed, hehe.

Romney wants to cut funding for PBS and Sesame Street

I watch all three networks (FOX, CNN and MSNBC) often and I haven't found it to be a rarity. Yes there is interrupting that goes on and the host tends to "win" but it's not that the guests never get to respond and make their point. But of all the networks, the show I think is the most fair is...

Romney wants to cut funding for PBS and Sesame Street

Regarding the infamous Big Bird ad, I liked the "no matter where they nest" part, it's creepy like those old '80s PSAs, lol. But yeah it does come off more like a spoof than a real commercial. It's surprising frankly that anyone approved it.

Romney wants to cut funding for PBS and Sesame Street

They get to respond, they just don't get to win, lol. These guys are all friends anyway, the whole partisan thing is nonsense that the public too easily buys into. This is true, lol.

Romney wants to cut funding for PBS and Sesame Street

People don't realize that the hype is never as serious as the reality. People panic about Sesame Street being all liberal, but their "indoctrination" is never that severe. Like how people say Fox News is totally bias. Well obviously it's right leaning, but people don't realize that they have...

    Questions about anything

People just don't like the stigma of being called "disabled." It sounds negative. And I guess they would argue that if the world was more accommodating it wouldn't have to be a disability.
