Disney buying Lucasfilm, Star Wars Episode VII coming in 2015

All I know is, I don't care if the movies are good or not, I'm just delighted to see the original characters on the covers of so many magazines lately! :halo:

What is Your Race and Religion?

Wow, this thread was started only a couple months before I started posting here, lol. Race: Italian/Sicilian American Religion: Catholic, but I like to go by the phrase I once saw on Tough Pigs, "Hippie Christian," lol.

    When you need to rant...

Well it helped that his character was so popular. He probably knew he could get away with acting that way. But Blair was not quite so popular as Kirk Cameron. I think it was more of a risk for her to refuse to do that episode. Well that's a little different. Archie was never supposed to be...

    When you need to rant...

Yeah I mean I remember the actress who played Blair on Facts of Life decided not to do an episode that focused on her character having premarital sex because it was against her beliefs. That I respect because she truly stuck to her convictions even if it possibly meant her getting in trouble...

Questions about Muppet Babies in general

Muppet Babies was definitely an entirely different universe, even in its humor. It was quite literally "what if the Muppets became your standard '80s cartoon?" Complete with Frank Welker at the helm, lol. But I'm not ashamed to admit I love the show for it. Yes it was different but it was hugely...

True, I'll save him the trouble. Pick one random thing on TV nowadays, chances are it will be filth, lol.

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

You're not a bad person; you shouldn't think bad thoughts about others. You're better than that. That's all I'm saying.

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Like I said, that's a morality debate; a much larger issue. I respectfully agree to disagree. Forgiveness means nothing when we only give it to those who are sorry. That's a comparatively easy thing to do. In any case, again, forgiveness does not mean not holding someone accountable.

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Well that's not exactly what I said. A person may remain a bad (or more accurately disturbed) person for the rest of their lives and perhaps you can't have them around you anymore. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting. Well now we're getting into morality and philosophical debates, lol. All...

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Well no one said it was easy. And it's not something you only do once and it's over. It's a decision you make everyday. But again it does not mean not holding someone responsible.

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Fair enough. I think the key phrase here is "like nothing happened." Forgiveness to me does not mean forgetting or not holding a person responsible. It just means not holding anger in your heart.

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

That's why I won't address this part of the issue directly. Anything on either side is gossip at this point. But the thing is, would you be so eager to discredit them if the person they were accusing wasn't someone you cared about?

Muppet Movie that you have seen the Most?

Yeah I love The Hub for that by the way, lol. But yeah I miss the days when TV in general showed a wider variety of movies. This is exactly why TV is on its way out and the Internet will rule! Hehe! :halo:

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

I think you are absolutely right, Melissa. And people really need to be able to separate characters from performers. It's the characters we truly fall in love with. It's the characters we really know. We like to think we know their performers too but in reality they are strangers. I know I'm...
