I agree with this. It's almost like they took some publicity shots of Cat with the Swedish Chef and then decided to go a different way so they Photoshopped him to look different and then built the puppet around that design. I'm not saying that's what happened. It just kind of looks like it did...

I think the curly perm made Piggy look more like a caricature of herself rather than the glam pig of the Muppet Show and Great Muppet Caper, but I know many people who like "fright-wig" Piggy. :)

Personally, I think the current puppet builders should revert back to something like the Miss Piggy on the left and use the Gonzo on the right. There's a quality with these puppets that seems to get diluted.
