Byron--
PLEASE don't tell me you're wearing Muppet panties. I've got a strong stomach, but I just dry heaved.....mental images....too early in the morning.....
Oh no you didn't!
(pronounced "di-uhnt")
Quinnnnnn
"Manos: The Hand Of Fate"....LOL!!!!
MAN, if MST3K could get their mitts on some of those Disney sequels.....okay, if MST3K were still AROUND....
Quinnnnnn
LOL--I was thinking that too. There's not much on at 11:00 AM here, and since my job is at night, I'm usually around in the mornings. It's a wasteland out there. I can usually handle about ten minutes of "The View," which is about ten times of what I can handle of Regis and Kelly.
BTW, I...
I've been obsessed with just about everything in my life (except Disney and Country Music), and trust me, the Muppets are one of the best, with the best people being obsessed with them.
Just don't start stalking them...the lint problems will really start bugging you.
Quinnnnnnnn
I'll definitely let y'all know what's up each step of the way if we end up going--when the taping is, when the show will air...unless of course I bomb, and then I'll just "forget" this entire thread.
Yeah, I'm wondering about the success of a syndicated version of it, but quite frankly, if...
Thanks, people--
Byron, you so ARE a Sasquatch. I'm more of an Ewok by comparison--hairy enough to be a Sasquatch, but only 6 feet. If you come over for dinner it has to be a Monday or Tuesday.
Mmmm....Melissa just made cinnamon rolls. Brb.
Having a wife is good for SO many reasons...
Fiddler on the Roof:
Tevye--Fozzie
Golde--Fozzie's Mom (a bit perverse, but hey)
Motel--Kermit (I was this character in high school....)
Tzeitel--Piggy
Perchik--Floyd (always the revolutionary)
Hodel--Janice
Chava--Prairie Dawn
Lazar Wolf--Gonzo
Yente--Grungetta
Rabbi--Dr Teeth...
Okay--so Waldo was like the low-budget, TV version. Or something.
I'm debating whether or not to get "Wrath of Khan" on DVD--it's one of the four Trek flicks I've got on DVD, already, and trying to decide if it's worth the upgrade. Maybe after I get some others I've been waiting on...
"less sad and droopy and more moody and soulful"
Hmmmm....I guess it all depends on what kind of mood the beholder is in. I think a lot of moody people are just sad.

Very nice article, Frogboy;
My favorite line:
"Any sculptor will tell you that there is a degree of interpretation in every piece."
I think these figures are outstanding, and although it is difficult to tell the differences made without seeing painted prototypes (except for Lew, who...
It's a nice song--I'd go for the single either way; but it'd be nice to get the one with Kermit on the cover.
Now if they'd only do something with U2....
Quinnnnnn
I'll get the ones in their "classic" costumes, but I'll be passing on the others.
I wouldn't get Rerun, but I'd definitely go for Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Franklin, Frieda, Violet, Patty, Shermy...
Quinnnnnn (n's may vary according to availability)
I also have a piece of Gonzo's fur on my fridge from "Muppets From Space;" that's one of my most prized possessions. My friend has one of Big Bird's feathers. I've got to find a way to guilt her into giving it to me.
Oh yes, it will be mine.
Quinnnnnn
I think it's great that these "troublesome kids" have some sort of soft spot for the Muppets, and have some sort of fond memories of them. Also, if you look at the people who actually shop at places like Hot Topic, it's a pretty healthy mix of the Goth kids and the frat boys, "normal" students...
LOL---I've been absent far too long. I miss my MC friends! With three jobs and baby and wife and no more posting from work, it's hard to get in here as often as I'd like.
Wow. 11:00 already. If they're coming back today I should really clean this place up.
Sounds like you have what's going around Emmy; get well fast, and STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!
Chances are, you ARE away from me, but still...
TGMC is the one I usually go to as well---theres something about the water ballet and my babe blowing bubbles out of her nose that always makes me feel...
Yeah, my dream is that I'll go, and the rounds of questions will be about Muppets, Star Wars, Sesame Street, U2, Toys, and Geography....then they'll say it's rigged when I run out of there with a million samoleons and I'll have to move in with some of my Muppety Friends....
I'd pay you...
Anyone know if Frank is involved in the NBC Muppet Christmas Movie Dealie Thing Whose Title I Can't Remember?
I wonder if Frank would perform Piggy or Fozzie for a Big Screen movie, or if the Torch Has Been Passed...
Quinnnnnnnn
