They started numbering the episodes differently starting in Season 43. Prior to that, they counted each individual episode. From Season 43 onward, the season 43 premiere was 4301, the season 44 premiere was 4401, and it would go on like that. The first 2 digits of the episode number is the...
Just wondering, are the older human cast members (except Maria) still with the show? I'm curious because I noticed that they're still listed in the credits but we haven't seen any of them at all, even for a second. So I wonder if they're even there anymore. I just don't understand why they'd...
Do you mean in addition to the 4 that were listed before it launched? The ones on there now have been there since the 16th. I was a little bummed because I thought you meant in addition to the episodes that are on there now.
I've noticed that lately, they haven't really been uploading much on the official YouTube channel, except for the Throwback Thursday clip (which is practically all I care about). I've noticed they really haven't uploaded much from Season 46. I remember they originally uploaded all of 4601 and...
It turns out the 4 classic episodes that were listed are only some of them! There's now a whole bunch of episodes from the 90s and 2000s that have not been released. This actually makes me feel a bit better.
I would like to point out that I have been told that there will not be anymore episodes from this source. I'm not saying who I heard this from, but I got thinking ... I wonder if maybe someone actually hacked into the Sesame Workshop vault illegally. I know they obviously came from Sesame...
As some of you know, a lot of rare old episodes have been turning up lately. A bunch of episodes from Seasons 1, 10, 12, 20, and now Season 22. I have to say this is one of the greatest things that's ever happened. As a lot of our questions about the old days have been answered, and one of the...
Well, there's a preview video on the HBO website with clips of episodes, and there are a few clips of classic sketches, as well as the Season 30 opening theme song. So I gotta say I think there's a pretty good chance.
I know that most of the SS episodes that will air on HBO will be newer. However, I read on the HBO Kids website that episodes will air daily on HBO Family at 8am. It said that it would be "episodes from the past 4 or 5 seasons as well as classic episodes from the show's 40-year history." I'm...
I went onto the HBO Kids website to see exactly what would be airing, and it says that the new episodes will air on Saturday and "new and past episodes" will be airing on HBO Family daily. I just don't know how far back it will be going.
It seems like the show is taking a similar direction that it took in Season 33. I also noticed that article said there would be fewer pop culture references. I've noticed that's something that seems to have come and gone. I remember when I was a kid back in the 80s and early 90s they did it all...
I've actually wondered that myself, and I think I figured out why. I don't think they ever said anywhere that Season 46 will be premiering on 11/16. I think that's just when the half-hour version will replace the hour long version on PBS.
They're not JUST doors. They're doors that have been there since DAY ONE. It was bad enough in season 33 when they put those shapes in them, and I was actually glad to see they went back to the old ones in season 37. So maybe they could bring them back at some point, and I really hope they do.
I seriously don't know why they would get rid of the construction doors that had been there since Day One, and why they would move Oscar's can. I seriously feel like the wonderful show that I've known my whole life is officially dead. I feel like going down to that studio and kicking that...
I saw some pics on Twitter and Instagram of some of the celebrities that will be on in Season 46. Among those are Gina Rodriguez, Gwen Stefani, and the group Fifth Harmony. I'm guessing they're Word on the Street segments because it says they were filmed in LA. Though I'm a bit surprised since...
It's just that for so many years they DID air classic material in the new shows. They aired segments from as far back as 1969 in the late 90s, and sometimes even in the early 2000s. If they can upload classic clips to YouTube for Throwback Thursday, why can't they have them on the show too?
I also thought that one thing they COULD do, if they were to show any classic slips, is maybe stretch the picture and show them in HD. I really think that's the main reason why they haven't been showing them. Of course it wouldn't be the same, but it would be better than not showing them at all.
I recently heard from a source I don't really wanna say that Season 46 of Sesame Street will have a new format, and that they're testing it out with kids before anything. I don't exactly know what it will be like yet, but I really hope that they do away with the whole Murray format, as I really...
