    Favorite B.P. Nichol episode

I remember years ago when Carol Bolt (writer of "I Don't Care") passed away, we started a tribute thread for her. So, I figured since MC wasn't around when B.P. Nichol (Kathy Mullen's favorite FR writer) passed, I would start a tribute thread for him. Name your favorite B.P. episode and...

Can we PLEASE implement a rule against bumping old threads?

^This, all the way. The fact that so many people are complaining about this makes me sorry to live in this world. I've been blacklisted by a company I adore and my father and I only have fifty dollars a month to live on (for the both of us!) This thread is really hurtful to people with real...

    The Weekly Poll #10

Roll your eyes if you must, but I picked Kevin Clash. He absolutely is the most versatile of the options in the poll. From Craniac to Clifford to Polly Lobster to Hoots the Owl, he's much more than a furry red monster.

    Adventures in Wonderland

Trust me, you're in good company; I've only seen the WereHare episode once, which was enough! In terms of my favorite eps, ones that have stuck with me are the Wheel of Fortune spoof, the one with the Rose-Colored Glasses, and any episode with The Duchess (played by Terri Garr). I also liked the...

    Dad getting surgery (Part II)

So, the surgery was about two weeks ago and Dad is recovering quite well. The biggest setback is when he's sleeping; he says it feels like all his organs are being streched out. As such, his sleep patterns have been askew ever since the surgery since he doesn't fall asleep until 5AM, and by 9...

    Times when Boober was right

Boober is, of course, the great worrier of the Fraggle five. But I can think of at least two episodes where Boober's concerns were justified (The River of Life and Bored Stiff). I'm sure there's more examples; can you guys think of more?

Some thoughts on Muppet Treasure Island

You're proving my point. Most villains think they're doing good, even if it ends up harming the heroes.

Some thoughts on Muppet Treasure Island

Sam is the exact opposite of helpful. He represents everything good and normal and continually cites the Muppets as everything he's against. If anything, I'd consider Sam a villain.

    Crushes on Muppet Central...

If you're going to keep your crushes a secret (which I agree you should), why waste a thread? God knows I have my share of random thoughts, but if I don't think anything will be gained by telling people, I keep it to myself.

    The Secret Society of Poobahs

Not that I didn't start a thread about that exact subject or anything.

    Identify Smilie

I haven't heard much love for the newest batch of smilies; I love them! However, there's one smilie that I have trouble matching with its respective Muppet: (:ouch:). Which Muppet is this?

    Crushes on Muppeteers

You could post a picture of a kitten and a puppy sitting on a rainbow and it'd be frowned upon.

    Dealing with Fair-Weather Friends

Worry not, Newsie; these are aliases. Anyway, I know for a fact I can't talk to Donna; I've spent the past two years trying to patch things up. As far as Anna, this is probably a bigger deal to me than it is to her, so she might call off the friendship just for over-reacting.

    Help with Title: Part III

Upon revisiting this thread, I think I'll go with "Nanny Nanny Re-Do".

    Dealing with Fair-Weather Friends

I need y'all's advice about how to deal with a fair-weather friend. Her name's Anna and we did a show together three years ago. We were never 'besties' but we got along well enough. Later that year I got in a big fight with one of her friends, Donna. Since then, Anna has socialized more with...

    Non Sequitur

I wouldn't call Non Sequitur weird; maybe 'eccentric' (which is a distant cousin to weird).

    Non Sequitur

Yeah, but don't forget the name he called me at the end; by including that, all possibility of humor was removed. By the way, Heralde, I love your avatar! I grew up on that show!

New Sesame Street cast member with nose ring

I was aware of the Sesamstrasse character; that's why I made the disclaimer that maybe that wasn't her name. In my defense, Elmo was the only character that called Leela by her name and Elmo is sometimes hard to understand. And there's no 'hubbub'; I was just surprised to see someone with a...

    Non Sequitur

I'm speaking of course of the brilliant satirical comic strip by Wiley Miller. However, the purpose of this thread is more of an expose` than a tribute. Wiley includes his e-mail address in every strip in case a fan would like to give feedback. So I decided to take advantage of this and ask for...
