Anyone pick up a spare Free Comic Day Labyrinth?

    I didn't find one either.

    Question about World's Oldest Fraggle

Chalk this up to shameless lack of knowledge: I started this thread way before I had seen episodes like "Fraggle Wars" or "Capture the Moon" that feature the *actual* WOF. However, I had seen "Preachification" and had assumed (probably for no reason other than convenience) that the Judge was...

    Boober's best moments

My favorite is when he sings "I'm Never Alone" in Boober Rock.

    Best/Worst advertising mascots

This isn't necessarily a mascot question, but I saw a commercial recently where a teenage girl drops her phone and says "Oh, smudge!", then breaks a nail and says "Ding dang it!" Can anyone tell me what product the commercial was for? (And it's not for Orbit Gum, so I don't want to hear it).

What songs scared you as a kid?

I agree; I didn't even make it 15 seconds in! But if you want to hear a great BLT song dub, check out Worthless in Hungarian. Anyway, when I was little I was terrified of Heart of Glass (Blondie) and Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen).

    Future Dr. Seuss Films

The books of Dr. Seuss are loved by all, though most of the recent film adaptations play very 'fast and loose' with Seuss' intentions. So, since THE LORAX has been out for a few weeks now, I thought it would be fun to throw around ideas for future film versions of Dr. Seuss books. Here's my...

    Best Kermit and Piggy Scene

I was being kind; if I said what I really feel, it would probably result in me being banned. If anything, she's one-dimensional. Her whole gimmick has been "I'm a star! I want celebrity status!" and doesn't care who she has to use or who gets hurt in the process. Snooki is more complex than Piggy.

    Best Kermit and Piggy Scene

But is it necessary? This is exactly why Piggy is my least favorite Muppet: She has done nothing since 1976 that is deserving of Kermit reciprocating her love. There is only one Muppet that has a truly loving relationship with Kermit (and I don't mean in a sexual way) and that's Fozzie. Rewatch...

    OBSESSED!: John Tartaglia

Note: Yes, John is singing a showtune, but he's doing it in Muppet voices, which makes this video's inclusion on this forum totally legit. If you don't like showtunes, you have two options: 1) Don't watch the video, or 2) Watch it and keep your flanhole shut. Anyhoohow, this is a video of...

    Movies you can't believe exist

From what I've seen, Mad 3 looks like it'll be the best one.

    Movies you can't believe exist

Plus, the songs took away from the dialogue scenes. Normally, movie musicals have the opposite problem, which is more forgivable.

"Put Down the Duckie" cameo question

About halfway through the celebrity version of 'Put Down the Duckie', there's an extreme close-up of a British man and woman who say in extremely harsh and stern tones: "PUT DOWWWWWN THE DUCKAY, YES YOU'VE GOTTTT TO LEAVE THE DUCK 'LONE!". Who are these people? When I was little, I was...

Out of Statler and Waldorf, which one is your favourite?

Statler, because along with Scooter, Richard completely disapeared into that character that he's unrecognizable. Jim could only do about two voices.

    Favorite Books/Authors

It's beautifully written but very boring and the characters are very unlikable. In lieu of reading the book, check out the film version with Laurence Olivier.

Can we PLEASE implement a rule against bumping old threads?

I apologize for my first reply. I was upset about something else that happened earlier that day and I should have waited a little longer to reply. Now I realize your true intentions. My goal with my second reply was an attempt for a 'teachable moment' when maybe it wasn't called for. I'm not...

Can we PLEASE implement a rule against bumping old threads?

My personal issues aside, let's say what we mean: Reviving old threads annoy some of you. This isn't a strong enough reason to make a new rule. If you want to live in a world free of annoyances, move to Oz or Never-Land.

Saddest Song in A Muppet Movie

"Pictures in my Head" should not be on this list because it's predictable. The audience knew the Muppets would get back together, so it's wasted in the context of the story. OTOH, "Saying Goodbye" is a legitimate sad moment for the opposite reason: in TMTM, there was no guarantee that they would...
