    Downloading Sesame Street songs

Actually, "Nearly Missed" was on the original Sesame Street record, but that's long OOP, and the other 2 were never on a record.

    When you outgrew Sesame Street...

That's horrible! What exactly is St. Vincents? Is it a church or something? How exactly did she make you give them away?? :(

    Counting Rocks

Well, it was, but see, it was supposed to be Rocco's favorite movie, and Rocco wanted to be in the movie. So, at the beginning, they actually interrupted the film, and that's when Rocco said that he wanted to be in the movie. And Rocco made his appearance at the end, after the rocks all formed a...

Correction again: Sesame Too is on once a day from Saturday thru Monday at 9:00 AM, and from Tuesday thru Friday, it's on twice a day, at 5:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

    Counting Rocks

Yes, I remember it very well. It was an animation created by Jim Henson himself.

    Two Questions...

Yes, actually, they do. But I think that's because they don't want the show to look dated.

Sesame Workshop Library to be Digitally Preserved

It IS only for people who work for the company. It's a shame, I know. Some of you may not believe this, but at the Workshop, they have this computer program called "Rosita", which is basically a list of all the segments that SS has ever created, and all the shows that they have ever appeared in...

No More 5AM Sesame On Noggin

Sesame Too is on Noggin at 5 AM from Tuesday through Friday, and those are from Season 30. But I would not be surprised if they did away with it soon. I do have a feeling that they will eventually do away with Sesame Street completely, since they are no longer owned by Sesame Workshop.

    The old Sesame Street closing

Big Bird wasn't there in the park with Barkley and the kids. It wasn't your PBS station, that's the way it was nationally. And to tell you the truth, I always wondered about that myself. But compared to other shows, the Sesame Street credits were pretty long. So they probably did it only on...

    Trading Sesame Street Episodes

I might actually be interested in some of those shows, too. But not 2882, since I already have that one.

    The old Sesame Street closing

I'm actually assuming that during Season 1 and 2, they just had still pictures for the closing. Then in Season 3, they started the closing with the drawings ran from 1971 to 1976, and the steering wheel was from 1976 to 1980. Then from 1980 until 1992, they had Barkley and the kids.

    The old Sesame Street closing

Yes, the animated credits you're referring to was called the "Friday Credit Crawl", and it started in 1992. They do still have it, but it's on every day, and sadly, it's MUCH shorter than it used to be. And that is not the "old" Sesame Street closing. The "old" Sesame Street closing was with a...

    Trading Sesame Street Episodes

    It isn't a disco song, it's more of like a '90s pop song. And I think it's from either '88 or '89.

    Trading Sesame Street Episodes

It isn't a muppet skit, it's a cartoon with a song that accompanies it.

    35 in a Different Light

I don't know if the airtime(s) have anything to do with the popularity. That's most likely because there's so much competition for other kids shows on PBS, especially older kids shows. See, when I was a kid, I think mostly EVERY PBS station had it on 2 or 3 times a day, and it would always be on...

Mikealan's skit with Harvey Kneeslapper Take 1...

(Harvey Kneeslapper is against the classic blue background, and he has this great new trick to pull on someone, where he has this buzzer on his hand, and he'll say to someone, 'Gimme 5!', and they would slap his hand, and it would buzz! Hilary Duff walks along....) Hilary: Hey, all of you out...
