Here's an interesting idea for a parody Family Guy could do. Maybe it will occur during the teaser, where Peter and Stewie comment "At least it's not like the time we went through our calypso stage!" To which we then begin the episode with a parody of the 1992-1998 "Sesame Street" calypso...
Well, since this year will mark the fifth year of my original upload of this music video (Michael Jackson's "Thriller" set to creepy Sesame Street moments), and with the "Cracks" animated skit finally being unearthed, I seized the opportunity to remake it with more spooky moments!
And of course I couldn't resist being the first to make a YouTube Poop of it!
(Someone requested this among alerting me of the segment's availability!)
Keeping with the Christmas theme, in the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger's character of "Jingle All the Way"...
"YES! ... YES!!!"
I was expecting the Crack Master to have a more deep, menacing voice, and more close-ups of said cracks.
Now I need to update my "Sesame Street Thriller" music video :D
Wow, that was deranged animation on the Crack Master there. I was expecting the cracks to have a really deep, evil voice, and the music being REALLY scary.
Now I need to update my "Sesame Street Thriller" music video :D
Sunday night's new Family Guy episode had a brief reference: at the start, the family (now with Vinny in place of Brian) was watching TV. The announcer says, "We now return to Muppet Babies." But on the TV, we see the adult Kermit and Miss Piggy looking into a crib. Kermit notes there's...
That's definitely Vogel's voice. IDK why, but at times his Count voice (like there) sounds like a Dracula-esque vampire out of a Scooby-Doo cartoon from the 1980s! I guess Matt Vogel decided to just use a basic Bela Lugosi Dracula imitation, like Jerry Nelson did.
It's a problem NBC has with the Thanksgiving Day Parade line-up. I also recall during the opening lineup announcements (you know, when the Theme to "New York, New York" is playing), they'd often say "The cast of Sesame Street! ...and the Muppets!" That often confused my brother into thinking...
Grover is in the nest with Big Bird, Elmo and Abby Cadabby!
The Count even got in a "One, two, three, four!" at the start, and everyone was singing, except for Oscar...
They said Jimmy Fallon and the Roots will perform with "the Muppets!"
HELLO, NBC, you should just call them the "Sesame Street Muppets!" Otherwise people are going to think Kermit and Miss Piggy and Fozzie will be in this parade too, like in the past few years when they'd say "The Cast of Sesame...
NOW I get to see it! I missed it last Thursday due to a storm (how ironic), and plus I was prepping for Halloween :D.
I liked how Bob, Gina, Prairie Dawn, Ernie and Bert all showed up as well. Familiar faces from my childhood!
I also liked Chris's "Eighteen flights that are delayed. Ah, ah, ah."...
Since Joe Raposo also scored Dr. Seuss TV specials in the late 1970s and early 1980s, including the famous Emmy-winning "Halloween is Grinch Night," I couldn't resist making this!
That isn't a new Big Bad Wolf puppet; it's been around since at least the late 1980s:
Not sure who voiced the wolf here, though; it was probably Tyler Bunch again. Matt Vogel would've probably used a more Jerry Nelson-esque voice for the wolf...
Looking at the library of segments Sesame Street had over the years, I remember how they would teach about "DON'T WALK" and "WALK," as seen in these...
But times have changed, and this includes the pedestrian crossing signals. Many of them across the country were upgraded, so now they...
All that segment seemed to teach was about the old cartoon "hide behind a tree to avoid an enemy" routine. Plus, the giant rabbit didn't seem to be THAT much of a threat; it was just walking the whole time! Were the kids afraid the mutant rabbit would squash them?
The music was pretty cool...
