Thursday morning be sure to start off your holiday watching the Sesame Street cast on Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Jimmy Fallon and the Roots will join the Sesame Street cast on their float this year for a very special appearance. They'll be singing "Somebody Come and Play."

The parade begins at 9 am eastern on NBC. (Please note, the parade may be delayed an hour or so for your time zone, so be sure to check local listings for accurate start times.)

If you saw the appearance, please "like" this message and share your thoughts below.

They said Jimmy Fallon and the Roots will perform with "the Muppets!"
HELLO, NBC, you should just call them the "Sesame Street Muppets!" Otherwise people are going to think Kermit and Miss Piggy and Fozzie will be in this parade too, like in the past few years when they'd say "The Cast of Sesame Street! ...and the Muppets."

Grover is in the nest with Big Bird, Elmo and Abby Cadabby!
The Count even got in a "One, two, three, four!" at the start, and everyone was singing, except for Oscar...

Seemed emptier than usual this year. And about half the human cast is noticably missing. Ah, well. At least the float is still a part of the parade!

Geez. You take one shower and you miss the only thing you like seeing in the parade...

Just like clockwork, I can always expect the SST float to appear about a quarter into the event once the parade really starts, at about 10:15 AM EST (11:15 AM local time).

Of course the human SST cast was absent, Jimmy Fallon and the Roots were performing with the Sesame Muppets. Hardly think there'd be enough room on that float for three sets of people.

The choice of Somebody Come And Play was a good call... It felt like a continuation of the appearance where the SST Muppets played school instruments on Jimmy's late-night show. Plus, this gave the gang a chance to sing individually. I heard Matt Vogel as :batty:, :insatiable:, :super:,, Abby, and Zoe. The only thing I didn't like was the rap verse in the middle of the song.

A fun appearance. That's one down, now it's off to wait until tonight's special with Lady Gaga and the other Muppets.

No, no, not the full cast. Just about half of it. At least Ismael Cordova got to make an appearance.
