Yeah. We know his health has gone hill with his dystonia, but if he's well enough to do his farewell tour that's definitely a good sign. About the possibility about him passing in a few years, it's best not to think about that.
Yeah. It would be great to have him return to play his characters on occasion like he did for a time on SS, but let's not forget the great job Eric has been doing with his characters and Dave as Cookie Monster, we don't want them to be out of work. Though I could see him doing a Grover/Cookie...
Wow! I thought Mr. Hanford was there from the beginning of season 21 and I didn't know he was on the street before it was established that he took over Hooper's. I guess Muppet Wiki was missing some info. Still it would be nice to see more of Leonard Jackson as Mr. Hanford.
So this is like the Muppets spoofing shows and movies and things like that? Sounds exciting. It's good to hear this will be more family-friendly. If I hear the Muppets singing 'Da** reputation' again-- GRRRRR!!! Sorry. I had to get that out of my system.
I think Matt's Kermit just needs...
Yeah. That would be neat since he would come to perform his characters on occassion, but now he seems to have retired from SS altogether:
:):o:concern: But now he seems to have retired from SS.
It would be interesting to see him make a comeback for a 50th anniversary special.
Those are definitely good ideas. Maybe we could see something where present day Big Bird interacted with the old dopey Big Bird or maybe the current Gordon would meet the original Gordon. (I know Matt Robinson is deceased because they could probably get a look alike.) I say this because...
:):o:concern: And by way of having her name removed from the end credits
They seemed to cut out the part with Maria this season. Makes me wonder if that was done intentionally in reference to her retirement.
Yeah. That would be nice. It seems like the season when those segments started they kept playing the same ones when there were still other unaired B&EGA segments. Hopefully we'll see more in the new episodes, especially with Peter voicing Ernie now. That would be neat to compare Pete's Ernie...
Definitely a good one. Nice to see a combo of Steve's and Billy's Ernies to compare and contrast the two voices. So that was Steve as :p in Great Adventures because it was in production before Steve left, just unaired until this ep came out, right? Just curious there.
"Rit's a rossarility."
After all, they did air the "Meet Julia" ep on both networks at the same time, so you never know. Though I would like to see a primetime special on maybe one of the major networks like ABC or whatever like they've done for other milestone season specials.
