Well, they should. I know Barkley was on the show for some time after Linda left, so I'm sure he'd want to see his mistress. Come to think of it, it probably would be the same deal with Wolfgang and Uncle Wally or Odie and Lyman. Lol.
Oh, okay. I get it, kind of similar to closed captioning but for seeing impaired rather than hearing impaired. Yeah, maybe it was a WVIA-TV thing, but I'll check my other channels as well. If that is a regular setting on my TV I should figure out how to turn it off.
I have kind of a strange question. When I was watching the show today, I heard a female voice over commenting on what was happening on the show. (Ex: "We see Nina twirling," "Snuffy lifts his trunk," etc. Yes, I know it's not a trunk, it's a Snuffle but that's what the voice over lady called...
I felt this is why it's disappointing that the main cast of humans was decreased to Alan, Chris and Nina. This episode could have used some longtime cast members such as Maria and Luis, Susan and Gordon, etc. if they were still on the show. Heck, there was even someone who spoke in sign...
I saw that just now. That was really cool. Pete is really starting to shine as Ernie. Kee hee hee hee! Yeah, it would be nice to have a backstory about how :( and :p met. I've always been wondering how they became roommates, because they are so different. Then again, I've had roommates in...
I wondered about that too because I didn't think PBS would start airing season 48 until November. Maybe they figured a lot of viewers just didn't want to wait nine months. Heck, I often have the same problem. Lol.
Yeah. I wondered why they changed the title. I've seen that happen in 'repeat' episodes but not in transitional episodes from HBO to PBS. When I noticed that I thought it would be a different episode altogether.
:):o:concern:: When I noticed that I thought it would be a different episode.
Well, why not? That would be a neat idea. After all, if they could have a video with :) and :p interacting, having Kermit sing his other songs including those from SS on American Idol isn't too much of a stretch.
Well, for they longest time they had the same puppeteer, so this hasn't really been doable until recently. Anyway, I'll have to watch when I get a chance.
Just for fun, I thought I'd post my own version of one of :)'s signature songs talking about the struggles I have keeping my place clean:
IT'S NOT EASY BEIN' CLEAN
It's not easy being clean. Having to spend each day cleaning up my mess. When I think it might be nicer going out or taking walks...
I remember seeing a fan fic someone did that's similar to the plot to "The Street We Live On," only they went further back in time. I remember the old orange Oscar made an appearance in that story, but after that the details are a little fuzzy.
That would be cool if somehow through a time warp or something the Snuffy of today would meet the early Snuffy (most likely Matt Vogel doing Jerry's early Snuffy voice). Definitely food for thought.
