Did anyone notice there was a honker at the counter in Hooper's Store? Wasn't that a true treat to see? I have to say that was like God's saving grace of this episode. I will always remember seeing that honker. That was like the best part of the whole episode, and possibly one of the best parts...
Sometimes I felt like Telly is the opposite of a comfort character. He’s always such a “worry wart.” In fact, I kind of wish he was in more of the pandemic specials, because I’m sure he would have a negative outlook on it, like I have.
Part of the reason I’ve always liked Telly is because he’s...
I've noticed we're in the middle of season 51 and Telly has not been on at all. It almost seems as if they've done away with him. I've noticed that Oscar isn't really on anymore either. He's been in 2 cold openings, but that's it. Why do you think this is?
I know this is gonna sound weird but whenever I see an old street story with Oscar's trash can in it's old location, I think "Why did they have to move it? This is how it should be."
I know the fire truck that was shown was from the Danbury, CT fire department, so it definitely wasn't all shot in NYC. Also, one of the rides looked like the paratrooper at the now-gone Whalom Park in Massachusetts, but it could be anywhere.
I’m glad HBO Max added new episodes, but I have to say the editors did a terrible job. First of all, I noticed a lot of segments were cut that I can’t understand why they would be, like “small k - kiss” and “Bert’s Bust.” What’s wrong with those sketches? But also what really bothers me is that...
Are there any Apple TV users here? Because I am and I’ve had trouble accessing the episodes from the menu and I wonder if it’s just an Apple TV glitch.
Well, Sesame Street is officially off HBO and most (but not all) episodes that were previously available there have moved to HBO Max, and they’re exactly like they were on there. I kind of hoped they would have removed the stupid SS Classics logo, and restored the Joe Raposo songs that they once...
I think a lot of us have been there. I used to think it was like the worst thing, and I still do. Because I feel like Sesame Street is one of the most important things in my life. And this is interesting, I saw someone say in another thread here that nostalgia has become much more acceptable...
For the past 5 years, since its launch on HBO, the subchannel HBO Family has aired Sesame Street every morning twice. On November 1, that will come to an end. So I'm guessing that all of the episodes that are currently on the regular HBO will move to HBO Max.
I just noticed this episode has been “hidden” for some reason. You can still find the episode if you search for it, but it’s not listed with the rest of the series.
The question is, do we know if and when HBO Max plans on adding anymore episodes? Because when SS first debuted on HBO back in 2016, they had a Classics package, and I figured they would add more as time went on, but they never did. And are you sure the episodes on HBO Max aren’t arbitrary? It...
I've noticed from reading the guides that there's a few episodes that have sponsor inserts in them that were from a sponsor that did not sponsor the episode.
Episode 1291: The sponsor was 8, but it had the Ringmaster #2 cartoon.
Episode 1989: The sponsors were J and R, but it had the Consonant...
