I've looked at the Wiki guides for a lot of the classic episodes, and I've noticed that a lot of stuff is cut. It actually seems like every single sketch with Grover and John John is cut. I wonder if it has to do with the whole racism thing going on. I can't think of another reason why it would be.

Oh wow I just looked. Yeah, they have quite a few episodes that haven’t been released before. In fact, a lot of them! And I’ve noticed they do have every episode from season 36 on up.

I actually just noticed that. They have all the Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Camp Echo Rock episodes. But I haven’t seen any others. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place. Because when I look in episodes, it just lists the episodes that have already been on HBO.

I just checked the American Archive of Public Broadcasting website, and they now have every episode from Season 15 on up.

That's exactly what I just found out. The episodes from 27-29 and 31-33 have always been on HBO (well, since SS premiered on there). I just hope HBO Max will be better than this. I wonder if this is what they're talking about...

You do make a good point. However, most of the classic episodes released on iTunes, Amazon, and Netflix, etc. were not that significant. I’m still not entirely sure why they chose some of those episodes. The earliest season they currently have on HBO that isn’t considered “classic” is season 41...
