    Bruno's last episode

Oh yes he did. That's what was fun about it. Try to imagine a deep gruff Caroll voice that chuckled, and that's what you'd get. I remember one scene where they were in the library and Oscar was in no mood to hear the nice story being read aloud (either "Snow White" or "Rapunzel" or one of...

    Episode 1364

It's also important to note that there are less episodes in a season to put clips, classic or otherwise, into. 26 shows per season.

    Horrible Sesame image!

Not a nice image, but could be worse.

    Bruno's last episode

I dunno, but I miss Bruno. I even remember once in a while he would talk. I think his mouth moved by "Oscar's hand" pulling a string from inside the trashcan. Didn't say much, though. No help at all to your question. Just reminiscing.

Calling all fans! (Jim Henson Legacy Project)

Are you planning to include the various animations and films that Henson contributed for Sesame Street? I think more than half the viewers who've seen King of Eight, or the Baker Films, or Scanimate skit with "Mr. Nobody" for #10, or even the Dollhouse song, would have never guessed that Henson...

What Muppet voices can you do?

I can do a decent Big Bird, though I tend to go back and forth between the modern day Big Bird and the relatively dopier bird of the first few years. I use that to mispronouce any surname. My Oscar sounds like my Bugs Bunny with a scratchy throat. :grouchy: I'm happy with my Grover. But...

    Sesame Street Bloopers/Technical Difficulties

Another "J Friends" blooper which may not be as obvious. When Jim's Fat Blue AM is singing his verse "J-Jane", it looks like his right eye is about to fall off. Then when Fran's Lavendar AM faces the camera to sing her verse, Jim's AM conveniently steps away from the camera, just long enough for...

    Sesame Street Bloopers/Technical Difficulties

In the "A, You're Adorable" sketch, you can see Frank's head behind an unnamed Cookie Monster.

A Great Episode Feat: When did the Count...

I see. Welcome aboard! By any chance, this clip of the Count of which you speak, was it a non-English speaking skit on a Sesame co-production? That could explain why others on this board who're familiar with the original American version wouldn't be able to identify the skit based on what...

A Great Episode Feat: When did the Count...

Out of interest, are you writing from Croatia?

Big Bird and the Mysterious Neck Tie

I don't know whether this is accurate or not, but I have heard that when Big Bird is on location, like in the examples you mentioned, Caroll Spinney uses that tie to help him see outside in addition to using the monitor inside the bird. Maybe Secret Squirrel can clarify this?

Miami Mice with Kermit and Ernie

I somewhat remember the Count one, though I only saw it once or twice. The Count needed the Miami Mice to get to the space station but got distracted counting the clothes in the Mice's closet. He counted X amount of shoes, but no socks. He stares into the camera and says, "Why are there no...

    Thank You, Jerry Nelson

Well, he is.... in a way. Aside from human cameos on Sesame Street and in the Muppet movies, his Muppeteering is a form of acting.

    What is inside Oscar's trashcan?

The old swimming pool. The plug of that pool, circumference-wise (is that a term?) was as wide as the trash can.

The bearded guy from the Monotones

I've heard a lot about "Spinning Wheel" being a cover song on Sesame Street. I know the lyrics, but what actually happened in the song?

    Funniest Ernie & Bert moments!

I got scared by that skit too, but the eyes didn't freak me out nearly as much as Ernie's off-screen wail and faint when the Count asked Bert the fatal question, "Could I sleep over again tonight, Bert?" Good time to turn the volume down. In hindsight, maybe because the Henson yell was so...

I bought "Put Down the Duckie"

I've often wondered whether the Oscar segments appearing before and after the pledge drives are included on the VHS/DVD. I would guess not, because it wouldn't make much sense to the VHS viewer who hadn't seen the special on TV. Still, the dialogue between Kermit and Oscar about PBS is fun to watch.

    "World of Jim Henson" video

I'm sure Phil would know this answer. Not exactly a wanted question, but here goes. Was the "World of Jim Henson" in 1994 ever put out on DVD? If not, are there any plans to do so?

Ernie Sings "If I Knew You Were Coming..." from 1969

Guessing from the background music melody, and the English subtitles shown during one verse, I'm going to guess that lyrics listed above are one and the same for both Cookie and Ernie singing.

Ernie Sings "If I Knew You Were Coming..." from 1969

This song was originally written in the 1950's. After some online searching, it looks like it was originally done by someone called Eileen Barton.
