    Courage the Cowardly Dog returning?

I mean, you guys have missed a bunch of very good shows (The Amazing World of Gumball and Craig of the Creek are terrific).

Muppets Haunted Mansion special coming to Disney+ on Friday October 8, 2021

I'm jealous and I'm part of the danged website.

Segments acceptable in 70s/80s, but now no longer the case

    Those aren't racist. Sexist, probably.

Muppets Haunted Mansion special coming to Disney+ on Friday October 8, 2021

This is also a special, not a series or feature-length film. The stakes a little lower.

Coming Soon: "Fraggle Rock: A Visual History"

Really? It's not supposed to come out for two weeks-ish.

Muppets Haunted Mansion special coming to Disney+ on Friday October 8, 2021

I think a holiday special, especially for a popular holiday, will draw a lot more eyes than a random streaming show.

Muppets Haunted Mansion special coming to Disney+ on Friday October 8, 2021

Or they're trying to hide the fact that this attraction is old, perhaps?

Muppets Haunted Mansion special coming to Disney+ on Friday October 8, 2021

That was a ghost (one of the old Muppet Show ones from the Vincent Price ep.) The other two are apparently named Mummy and Duddy; they're the same puppets used as Real Old Tom and Dead Tom from MTI, just stripped of their pirate garb (Mummy has a one visible eye and I think a monocle? Kinda...

Is it me or have I NEVER HEARD ANY OF THE NEW GUEST STARS?

I guess it depends on what kind of media you consume these days. Like, for the Elmo talk show's new season, I have no idea who the majority of the announced musical guests are because I don't really follow modern music. But I know the likes of Aidy Bryant or Amber Ruffin because I watch comedy...

    Video: Muppets Haunted Mansion Trailer

Oh yeah, this is more like it. The announcement and poster got me excited, but that deflated when all we heard after was celebrity cameos. This trailer got me really excited again and I can't wait.

People complaining about Matt Vogel replacing Steve Whitmire as Kermit the Frog

I may not think Matt is perfect, but if the audition process is to be trusted, then he was the right guy for the job. Random YouTube comments saying "Kermit sounds weird" aren't going to change my mind.

Shari Lewis & The Muppet Movie

IMDb is not the most reliable source of information. There's like 150+ puppeteers for that finale, right? It's certainly not impossible that she was there, but I feel like we have heard that from her at some point.

Sesame Street Special "Furry Friends Forever: Elmo Gets a Puppy"

I think it looked better in the Monster at the End of This Story special. I don't like the method either, but it looked fine enough in that special; there was still a lot of personality shining through the characters and their movements. And what they're doing with Dorothy remains to be seen...

I almost feel naive having a little more faith in this than a lot of other people.

    Casey Kasem

Nope. The "Fly and Frog" cartoon was shown as late as 1998.

It seems that Frank Oz has been kicked out of the modern day Muppet projects…

I think the fact that Steve lived in another time zone didn't help much either. He was also coming in for awhile to do stuff that wasn't even being shown on the domestic show.

    Sesame Workshop/Shout! Factory Deal

I've seen it at my local B&N, so yes.

    Little things we've noticed

By that point, I'm guessing their policy was in place about showing pipe smoking onscreen, so those got discontinued because Mr. Chatterly has a pipe in them (same reason I'm guessing they've been cut from the HBO Max versions).
