    Read any good books lately?

I'm currently reading "The Three Investigators in The Mystery of the Creep-Show Crooks" (#41 in the series.) This will be the last in the series that I have yet to read- so after this book, I will finally have read all of them.:)

Collegehumor spoof: Miss. Piggy and Big Bird in Angry Birds PSA

Hahaha- that was hilarious! It was great to see Miss Piggy, Big Bird and the range of pig and bird characters in there. Looney Tunes was covered with Daffy Duck, Petunia Pig, Porky Pig and Foghorn Leghorn. Disney was there with Piglet and Darkwing Duck and Donald Duck. And that was great to have...

If you had access to a time machine…

Hahaha- that would be great. Back to the Future meets The Muppets. "Great Scott! This is heavy, Doc.":) Great job, Convincing John- as a BTTF fan, I totally enjoyed that.:D In all seriousness though, it is definitely a shame how Jim Henson died- I know every Muppet fan wishes he were still...

    Peanuts becomes graphic novel

Okay- never mind what I said about the Dell comics. I've got a few books published by Fawcett Crest from the '50s and '60s- but these are just compilations of newspaper strips, not the Dell comics you're talking about. I imagine those are probably hard to come by (at least for a decent price.)...

    Peanuts becomes graphic novel

If the Dell ones are what I'm thinking of, I've got a few of those books. This is very interesting to hear about indeed, especially since Charles Schulz seemed to be pretty adamant about not having anyone continue the strip after he had died. I guess the family decided to allow this as a tribute...

Redeeming Villains in Stories - Right or Wrong?

Here's the Relient K video I was talking about. This is just awesome! I love Relient K and I particularly love this song as it so clearly points out the love and forgiveness Jesus offers through His death and Resurrection- and the eternal hope we can all have in Him. And then to marry it with...

    MC - The Revival

Well, sure- I definitely believe in revival!:) People get ready- there's a train coming. You don't need no ticket now- you just get on board. :D :shifty::Free train ride? This is definitely our kind of transportation.

    MC - The Revival

Hahaha- I just cracked up at that line- that was so Grover too.:super: Seriously though, the train runs on steam. (Though I do wonder where Doc found plutonium in 1885- perhaps he kept some from the DeLorean...) Oh- well, that's a different train I think.:D :D: Yeah- and so was that whole...

    The Return of "Muppet What-Ifs?"

What if Kermit appeared in a sketch on Sesame Street with Rodeo Rosie? What if Kermit appeared in a sketch on Sesame Street with Slimey and Barkley? (Wow-what would they even say?) What if Kermit appeared in a new sketch on Sesame Street with Abby Cadabby? What if Kermit actually appeared in...

You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if...

If someone calls you a green thumb for your gardening skills and you get all excited because you figure they must be likening you to Kermit or Oscar or Zoot. (or Robin or the green Frackle or any number of other green Muppets.):):grouchy::cool:

I trust Boober got his hat before joining the Conga line. Because as any good Fraggle Rock friend knows, you can't do that without a hat!:coy: (Okay- sorry- had to get that joke in there somewhere.:smirk:) :excited:: Come on, everyone- let's conga!

Redeeming Villains in Stories - Right or Wrong?

And getting back to the main topic- I think it's great to see villians experience redemption in stories. Darth Vader is certainly the best example out there and he is what makes the Star Wars movies different from other sci-fi and action/adventure movies. Now there may be other examples...

Redeeming Villains in Stories - Right or Wrong?

Wow- glad that version was never made. Not that I would have been against Harry and Marv getting redemption- that's a great thing. But Kevin going psycho and playing The Punisher sounds like a pretty awful storyline. Of course, the Home Alone 3 that was made isn't all that great either-...

    Fun songs

Haha- nice! "Disco Duck" is awesome! I like watching the music video online every now and then. I mean- this is obviously where The Muppet Show and Sesame Street got inspiration for "Disco Frog" and I love that song too! (And I like to watch the Sesame Street version every so often too- I've...

"What a Cartoon!" Cartoon Network Shorts

Wow- don't know if I'd call that time the golden olden times of Cartoon Network- but the channel was certainly a lot better then. I remember the "What A Cartoon" segments- mainly I recall first seeing "The Powerpuff Girls" through one of the "World Premiere Toons". And all the other shows you...

Muppet Babies - 20+ years later

I've seen some of the Pac-Man cartoon- it's good fun. Especially the "Christmas Comes to PacLand" special- classic!:D Saturday Supercade is good too- but The Super Mario Bros. Superh Show is definitely classic- grew up with that one. And The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 as well- somehow...

Muppet Babies - 20+ years later

Papercutz has been publishing the Smurfs graphic novels, just as a by the way. (And I have to mention that this is also the company that has been publishing graphic novel versions of Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys- both of which are great!):)

The Bible and Love and Christians

I appreciate that, beaker. Very well said. I think it is definitely good to be anchored in your beliefs, whatever they may be. Of course, I would always point everyone to Jesus, but as you said, everyone must choose what they want to believe, as is their right. Hmm- I'm not sure how much of...
