Wow- sounds really cool! Sesame Street has done such a wide variety of parodies over the years- both in song and skits- so this is a great idea for a DVD release.:):wisdom:
Sorry that Amazon link didn't work- try this one. http://www.garfield.com/shopping/dvd_collection.html
This will take you right to Garfield's official site- and there's a link there for the various Garfield specials and TV shows on DVD, which redirects you to a list of them on Amazon
Most of...
I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the Grinch was on that show...
I've actually been watching ALF pretty recently on DVD and I love it! I loved it as a kid and I still love watching it now. I really don't think there are any shows that I liked as a kid that I don't still enjoy watching now...
Ernest Essential collection DVD- a really cheap collection of "Ernest Goes to Camp", "Ernest Scared Stupid" and "Ernest Goes to Jail". It was 5 bucks at Wal-Mart, so I figured might as well... Besides, I've already got "Ernest Saves Christmas" on DVD, so those 4 probably cover some of the...
Okay- that's about what I had surmised. And that's what I was trying to say- to ignore the religious aspects of Christmas and Hannukah when presenting it to kids is intellectually dishonest- especially when it's coming from a show that is supposed to be all about education for children...
And I love the "Garfield and Friends" cartoon as well- I think I've got one of the seasons on DVD that I picked up at Target a while back- every so often they have some pretty cool TV series on DVD for a nice, cheap price that I can actually afford.:D
And "The Garfield Show" on Cartoon...
Zack Snyder is going to be busy with the new "Superman: Man of Steel" movie for a while... (which I can't say I'm terribly excited about- but I'm hoping it will be better than what it's been sounding like so far)
That would be neat- a baby version of Sweetums and Sam the American Eagle would be pretty fun in particular. How about Baby Crazy Harry, with a penchant for setting off stink bombs?
rowlfy662- that's it!
Hey, look everyone- right here on the Disney set- it's Dr. Wayne Szalinski with his shrink ray!
Wayne: Hiya kids!
Clifford: You look familiar, man- didn't we meet once before?
Wayne: I don't know- but I've always had high hopes of meeting The Muppets!
Clifford: Oops-...
I wholly agree on that one. Okay, actually I love all of the "Back to the Future" movies- but I can see why you might say that. It's one of my favorites too.
But yes- definitely- I wish Brandon Routh had been given the go ahead for the originally planned sequel to "Superman Returns" with...
Thanks for the link about the goldfish death. Elmo's Uncle Jack was from the special made about soldiers who died in combat overseas, right?
I agree- "I'm Miss You, Mr. Hooper" is classic- Sesame Street did a great job with that episode.
And to clarify- I don't expect Sesame Street...
Don't get me wrong- I totally applaud Sesame Street for actually delving into the actual events of the first Christmas and talking about Jesus' birth- that was great to see on a video special that wasn't specifically Christian!:)
And I understand that they probably weren't going to do "The...
Yeah- I would definitely have to include "The Two Towers" and "Prince Caspian"- mainly because I love "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Chronicles of Narnia" books and movies. But yeah- those are all kind of movies in a series anyway- so I guess they are still considered sequels of sorts... but...
It's definitely a great episode- and I think it was largely unprecedented at the time as well. It definitely broke the 4th. wall (though other shows had and have done that too- "Moonlighting" had sort of a similar ending.)
But it is a classic "Newhart" episode for sure.:)
No offense if you're a fan of this show, but that kind of sacreligious scene is why I don't care for "American Dad" and much of the rest of its ilk... The Son of God bows to no one but we will all bow before Him one day (Philippians 2:9-11)
And there is no way to sneak into Heaven- you can only...
