Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Sure! I'm in love with The Bible myself- and more so than that, with The Author.:)
This book looks like it will be like a Muppets "bible" of sorts- which I could never decide if that term was sacreligious or not, but I think I've decided it's honestly a compliment and testament to the staying...
I have no idea what this "Moves Like Jagger" thing is and don't honestly care- I'm looking forward to the new Muppets movie. It's The Muppets! With my particular fandoms, I'm generally there regardless- so yeah, of course I'm going to see the movie and of course it's going to be awesome! It's...
Cool! A Monsters University short will be fun.:) And great to see some of the Muppet characters in the new movie here. I hope some that have not been featured in the last movie will make their way back to this one... :skeptical: and Sal and :electric: would be great to see. And Clifford and...
Awesome! Thanks for the trivia. I've got a VHS tape of "Robotman and Friends" at home. I remember having a coloring book based on that cartoon as a kid- great '80s cartoon and fun comic strip as well.:)
With only one Elmo's World segment left to be put on DVD, it would've been nice to get that on this latest DVD release just so they all could be on DVD. I like the idea of a DVD box set of all the Elmo's World segments though. I'm sure that would sell pretty well for all the young (and older)...
Can't say I'm too surprised... Maybe they can get some Sesame Street characters to cameo in the new Muppets movie though. perhaps? Or maybe Super Grover could cameo.:super:
Has anyone else noticed that there are two similar listings on Amazon.com regarding this book? There's this- http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1409345769/muppetcentral
which I believe is the book we've all been talking about here.
But there's also this-...
Hmmm- Ernie and Prairie Dawn?:p
Bert and Betty Lou?:(
Considering that I pretty much view all the Sesame Street Muppets (unless clearly indicated otherwsie) as kids, I don't think they would really be dating. However, I could see both these relationships happening, I suppose.
However...
What? I didn't know Prairie Dawn was semi-retired.......Hopefully they will keep her around- she is one of the classic characters that has been there for years- and one of the few female characters that has stayed for such a long time. She can't leave- who will direct all the Sesame Street...
I actually ate a box of the Big Bird cereal myself.....I agree with the comments about Cheerios tasting better than this....... but then- it is aimed at toddlers after all and needs to cut down on the sugar of course. Well- it's nice to see Big Bird, Elmo and Cookie Monster on cereal boxes...
Nice to see new Rocky and Bullwinkle material. I definitely love those cartoons. (I'm not the biggest fan in the world or anything, but I have seen the cartoons and the 2000 movie- which I think was great and hilarious, but I think I'm in the minority on that.) Anyway- yay for more Bullwinkle...
With a show like The Muppet Show, you really do need a character guide like this book so you can keep up with who's who- and which Muppets have been used for more than one character, etc. (I want to see listings for the obscure characters like Gaffer and Brewster, etc.) Hopefully it will be...
Oh, okay.:sigh: :smirk: Well, maybe iTunes would be the way to go for that......:coy: :busy:
(Though a nice, commemorative boxed CD set would be cool too- one with never before released Fraggle Rock songs.):dreamy::excited:
