Okay- that makes sense about the live action Star Wars series. Thanks for the info on that.
As to Indiana Jones, I'm a longtime fan who has seen all the movies, grew up watching The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles on TV, has read all the English language novels released back in the '90s...
Thanks for sharing it! I LOVE it!:):D
I don't think any of these '70s items look all that bad- they look like some great Sesame Street items to me- I don't think they're really all that ugly or anything.
I've seen that Plaid Stallions blog before- they have a lot of cool stuff on...
Wow- well, if this ever gets published, I'll certainly be interested to see it. I love Fraggle Rock!:smirk::dreamy::coy::sigh::excited::busy::drool::jim:
What happened to the live action Star Wars TV series that was talked about some years ago? And, much as I love Star Wars and The Muppets, the one I'm most concerned about with this deal is Indiana Jones- I'm wondering how Disney buying LucasFilm will affect the possibility of a fifth Indiana...
Wow- nice Christmas card! Great artwork- I also love all the intermingling of characters from The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Fraggle Rock and The Jim Henson Hour and more.
(The silhouette of The Storyteller and his dog is definitely great too.) And I definitely loved seeing Emmett Otter in there...
What? Croaker shows up in this movie too? Wow- talk about a blast from the past. Great to see obscure and/or forgotten characters showing up, even in quick cameos and/or puppets being used for other characters.
After hearing about this for so long, it was great to finally see it! Thanks to whoever posted it.:batty::insatiable::)
I LOVE that video, by the way. If you do an updated version, please post the link on the thread here- I'd love to check it out.:scary:
I've only seen one episode from the first series so far. Of course, I grew up reading the Sherlock Holmes stories as a kid and so I know what the reference is from the books.;)
The show does a great job of modernizing the classic stories while still keeping most of the basic plot...
Cool! Thanks for the video link. Nice to see Fraggle Rock characters making public appearances:coy::drool: - I don't seem to hear about them having public appearances nearly as much as Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie and the gang.:shifty:
(But of course, I love them all!:) )
I love how it seems a lot of Japanese shows have a trend of suddenly introducing these robot characters (i.e. Spider-Man's robot on the '70s live action show) and/or monsters and such...
I have heard of this Tomb of Dracula anime, mainly due to being a comics fan in general and particularly a fan of Marvel and DC superheroes- but I don't really care that much about "Tomb of Dracula" so I haven't tried to seek this one out to view. (I have heard there was a follow up anime with...
Cool. I love the obscure characters- it's nice to see Lips getting some more prominence.:D (Maybe we can get a Lips smiley on here- it could be for "speechless".)
What's wrong with "The Macarena"? It's a fun song. I suppose people got sick of it in the late '90s- but it's not like it's really been heard much anymore like it was back in the day- (though I suppose it did get a small comeback through the famous "Evolution of Dance" video on Youtube in recent...
I like that the preview pages include characters from both The Muppet Show and Muppets Tonight- that's a good sign. (Hopefully some other characters from various other productions will appear too.) And I'm glad they included their debut episode and all- and they have some pictures of their other...
