Here's another idea for a themed release. What about a DVD celebrating some of the most well known non-human Sesame Street species? i.e. a video full of classic clips with the Honkers, Dingers, Yip Yip aliens [The Martians], Twiddlebugs, Grouches, Snuffleupaguses, and monsters. (I realize we...
Whoa- I didn't realize sesamestreet.org has street scenes on there too... I haven't looked at it in forever- I'm going to have to check it out again sometime soon...:):wisdom::super:
Really? Didn't know about that one. I'm guessing at least some of the Rugrats kids must be Jewish, given that they've had Passover and Hannukah episodes and learnt about Noah's Ark, as Genesis 6-9 relays in The Bible. (I've never really watched the cartoon except in passing, but I was aware of...
Has anyone seen these items? I didn't know they even existed- way cool!:)

I keep hoping that as details about the DVD and Blu-Ray release of "Muppets Most Wanted" pop up, we'll hear something about the DVD release of The Muppet Show Seasons 4 and 5. :fanatic::sigh::news::dreamy::attitude::skeptical::D
This would be wonderful to see on DVD........I hope it really does get released soon......I haven't ever seen it and I'm always happy for Muppet specials (especially classic ones like this) to get released.:)
I would SO love for "John Denver and The Muppets: A Christmas Together" to get officially released to DVD by Disney! It's an awesome special- one of my favorite Muppets specials!:)
That was incredibly annoying to me when NBC wanted to air VeggieTales. If you're going to air the show, air it as is- it sounds like needless censorship to me to cut out Bible references and tone down Christian content- I mean, the whole show is based on telling Bible stories in many episodes...
Well, it's certainly allowed to mention God on television. The point of Tom Brokaw's quote was that, though Mister Rogers was an ordained Presbyterian minister and viewed his television show as his special calling and ministry to show God's love to children, he never made it overtly preachy or...
Yay! I love Mr. Rogers.:):wisdom: He's one of my Christian heroes. One of my favorite quotes about him is from Tom Brokaw, who once said of him, "The real Mr. Rogers never mentioned God (on his show.) He never had to." That is certainly true- the love of Jesus Christ exuded from him on the show...
