As of last night I recognized at least 3 of JB's Puppets on his wall, but no captions, he may just like the pictures and saved them....

What kind of puppet are you making, are you sticking it to fur or fleece fabric? I'm not sure how well that would hold, I would suggest a hot glue gun....

It was more of just a thught of another place to try, I have never personally got this color from them, but I can tell you that the ones that I have purchased were almost exact to the picture....and that is a nice choice too!

My puppet runs about 23" from head to foot and still seems large to me? It may be because me using Kevin as reference would be incorrect as he is a large fellow himself...

I did almost the same thing, not sure if the pic I had was larger, but I traced it first with a sharpie and then enlarged it. Personally, I only went as large as the poser, anything much larger than that I didn't feel the head would be the right shape without padding...

Cut it from the back with an x-acto knife, do not use scissors on fur or you will get a mess to clean up! :)

Try to find smaller ping pong balls or order the half dome ones on-line. They are about 30mm and come with posts that you can either use or snap off and glue the eyes on. If you went by the standard ping pong ball, you may be correct, but Jim Henson also had huge hands....good luck
