Puppet As A Gift

Hey, I was thinking of giving my Goddaughter one of the FAO Schwartz Muppet Whatnots for Christmas, but the kit is kinda pricey. And plus, I think the puppets themselves look too bulky for their size. So I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on where I could get something similar, but cheaper and better-looking. My Goddaughter is five, and she has two younger sisters and a baby brother, so it would also have to be on the small side, and also durable enough to take the punishment children five and under can dish out.

FAO also sell Gund Muppet puppets of Kermit,Fozzie, Animal and Beaker.I think they are around $35 each.
