Yea trying to find half inch foam is a nightmare in the stores. I buy inch thick then slice it in half.. Its fiddly to do but it works.. And i just doubled the amount of foam i have!.. Winner :-)

Im new to this aswell.. But 1.5" thick foam is pretty thick. Maybe try half inch.

Just a little update on my quest to visit The Muppet Studios (aka Pinewood Studios) during the shoot.. Just heard from my mate who works there and learnt that he knows one of the floor managers who is working on the muppets.. Hes gonna be turning on the charm this week! Im a bit closer but still...

It is indeed Elmo.. :-) Im working with pingpong balls for eyes so he will be a little smaller overall but as long as the proportions are right around the eyes he should turn out ok..

Started work on my next replica.. Hes gonna be a present for my neice Ive begun with scaling the eyes and nose.. Thought it'd be fun to see if you can guess who he is just from the uncovered nose and unpainted eyes... Any guesses? :-)

How much for the Fozzie cop? And postage to the UK?
