Yea ebay is a great source for clothing :-) Im accumilating some bits for my rebuild at the moment. What are you using for tbe fur?

Its a chunk of packaging foam. Its not great as its not very flexible but i used it to practise carving. Ive since gon a block or reticulated foamthat i plan to use to make him again

Floral spray paint works well on foam. Try hyacinth as a base colour and touch it up with navy acrylic paint

No problem :-) I usually spray paint the inside of them.. Kinda makes for a nicer finish

I guess it depends how big your head will be when you scale up your regerence pics. Mine are 50mm plastic domes. They come clear and will need painting tho :-)

I find ebay is a great source for furs and fabrics, especially if there no stores mear you. I ised navy sherpa fleece for my Gonzo but it was a little dark. I dont think there is an easy, ready made option for his fur, it will require some form of treatment to get the texture right :-)

For the Kermit, the overall shape looks good.. But there is no foam in kermits head, just your hand :-) And great job on Robin so far.. His eyes really bring him to life :-)
