I liked the sketch with the puppy, too. I also liked "But I Like You", the banana in Ernie's ear, and when Ernie sang "O Solo Mio" out the window, just to see what time it was! :)
When I have a child in the future, I hope to raise her on old-school Sesame Street (for fear that she may be an Elmo addict :p). I want to show her all the Sesame stuff I was raised on during my childhood in the 90's, such as "Mary Had a Bicycle", "Telephone Rock", and many others.
I heard all about it on Yahoo. I'm kinda ticked myself. Just because kids get a free toy with their meal doesn't mean they'll be coming back to stuff their face more and more. As much as I want kids to be healthy, taking away something as timeless as a Gobo Fraggle carrot car isn't going to...
Delta Shout:
In A Friend in Need, Wembley's trying to tell the others about the nightmare he had but he's not making any sense at all.
"What did we do the last time it happened?"
"Turn him upside down!"
:coy:what? NO!

Here's my rankings:
1. Mokey
2. Red
3. Gobo
4. Boober
5. Travelling Matt
6. Wembley
I guess I am a lot like Mokey, considering that I love art; and like Red I enjoy swimming. :excited:

My favorite pages in the book are the ones with the title "Now I Know My ABCs", maybe because of that cute photo...
Ha ha, I totally remember that little appearance on "Sing Yourself Silly"! When he found out that "silly" was the word, he said: "Silly? Why, that's it! (laughs hard, then pauses) Or is it?"
Poor Forgetful. x-D
"Telephone Rock" was always my childhood favorite. Even today, I'm still psyched to see it on YouTube. I know all the lyrics, and I have it on my Mp3, so I sing it to myself and bob up and down like Little Jerry and the Monotones do in the video. I first saw it on my Rock 'n Roll video tape when...
I have to ask, but why would it scare you to see Muppets performing a song you've heard on a cassette first? Because I was always used to seeing Muppets sing stuff. Just wondering. :-)
Hi everyone! I'm TelephoneRock, and you can guess what I'm a fan of just from looking at my name. ;-) I'm a huge fan of old-school Sesame Street, and I decided to join after I heard about this forum so many times. So I decided to join the Muppet family of diehard fans like myself. I'm also a...
