The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show... now that brings me WAY back. I vaguely remember it, but the memories are fond ones. When I was really little, our TV could only pick up two or three channels. I remember watching that show. Then it seems like later we couldn't get ABC, but we could get channels...

Your Thoughts: Studio DC Hosted by Selena Gomez

I really do see where you're coming from. No matter what, I guess it's a good idea to hope for the best.

Your Thoughts: Studio DC Hosted by Selena Gomez

Disney constantly seems to re-air original movies and specials. I think that if they see an opportunity for publicity, they'll exploit it. And I'm not saying that in an altogether negative way. It makes sense to air something multiple times and get as much as you can out of it. Is there really...

Your Thoughts: Studio DC Hosted by Selena Gomez

As far as commercials go, I remember the Pizza Hut commercials coming on, but I don't really remember them for the content. Though they didn't do anything to help the Muppet brand, I think the average viewer has forgotten about those commercials. On the other hand, I liked the Muppets...

Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue voice artists

I miss when Nick would show Muppet Babies and The Muppet Show back to back... Or show specials like Muppet Family Christmas or The Frog Prince. I wish Disney would do something like that. ... An hour of Muppets every day... :flirt: Just thinking about it takes me back to my childhood.

Hopes for The Muppet Show Season 4

I think that Gonzo should be on season 4 and Scooter should be on season 5. Though an Animal cover has potential to look cool... and would probably attract people's attention.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 39

The zero dancers number was confusing and a weird way to explain the concept of zero.

We interrupt this cartoon for an important announcement: Velma said Jenkies! We now take you back to your regularly scheduled program. :D

I liked Scooby was A Pup Named Scooby Doo as well. I loved the cartoony style and the exaggerated personalities of the characters. It was an overall cute, funny show.

At least to me, Scooby Doo Where Are You was enjoyable because of the characters... and I mainly mean Scooby and Shaggy. Though I don't really see it this way now (I understand the characters more) but when I was little, I thought everyone else was about as fun as watching paint dry. When I was...

It depends. There are lots of old cartoons that look like they didn't try hard at all... Those Scooby Doo clones from the 70s for example. Scooby Doo didn't even have a strong story. Heck... Every episode followed the same story line. And while I'm not here to talk about how bad Scooby Doo was...

I agree. Nowadays story seems to come last in many cartoons. Then again, many old cartoons never really payed much attention to story either.

I heard good things about that show, but never saw it myself. I don't think I had the channel it came on.

Don't get me wrong. I loved MLP and watched it every day. I had MLP toys and things. I know the ponies had their moments of being able to kick butt as well as being sugary sweet. However, it really seemed like cartoons of the 80s that were directed towards girls, this was... what went on. There...

Something I've realized in comics, cartoons, live action TV shows, and movies is that women tend to fall into one of a few archetypal categories. (Examples: Femme fatale, romantic interest, nerdy chick friend, mother/grandmother... ect.) This applies to men as well, but they have many more...

    Saturday Morning memories thread

Now that I look back on my childhood, most of the cartoons/tv shows I loved were for general audiences.... both boys and girls. The Muppets and Fraggle Rock are prime examples. Actually, I personally think there has always been a lack of quality cartoons for girls. It's like they try to hard to...

Classic Muppets filming NBC Christmas special

I don't think there's any denying that. But it's true that the Muppets, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock are different brands and they need to be separated, at least until the public understands that the Muppets AREN'T just for kids.

    Where's Clifford?

No... Not exactly, though I guess that could make (say if Scooter were also on screen doing his gofering in the theater) What I mean is for him to hang out with and talk to the EM. I'd say Clifford falls into the same kind of "hip" category that Floyd and the rest of the Electric Mayhem are...

    Where's Clifford?

I always liked Clifford. I don't think he's half as great of a host as Kermit is, but I like him. I think there's a lot of potential to partner him with the Electric Mayhem... Not so much as a musical role, but like a confidant of sorts. I could see him and Floyd getting along pretty well. And...

I agree, it is better to not have what you don't want kids to eat. Portion control is just as important as telling kids to eat their fruits and veggies. There are some extreme circumstances though.
