    I switched Piggy heads!!

Wow, you didn't even have to use the "boil and pop" method on the heads? Simplicity in itself. :)

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Well, there's a little bit of both. I'm all in favor for it, because it saves the characters and helps the line. There's whining going on over there because of the timing, but obviously they couldn't announce this prior to the release of wave 9, or it's pointless. The celebrity wave was...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Hi Ken, Totally off topic here, but I know you're a big Simpsons collector (and I know some of the other members are as well), so I thought I'd fill you in on this news story that broke on the SCS today. Two of the interactive celebrity figures, Cooder (voiced by Jim Varney) and Llewellyn...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Question for Ken: Did TRU Canada take any Muppet Labs playsets? I have yet to see one. Did they decline this piece like they did the Tux Kermit? Maybe I've just missed them and they've sold out already, or maybe they haven't arrived yet.

ToyFare Vacation Fozzie On Sale Online August 28th

You gotta be kidding me! LOL! No, as far as I know, the TRU version should be stickerless. I joined the forum the very day that I mailed my coupon for Tux Kermit to Toyfare. I felt like a fool finding out it was available through TRU. Then I went straight back to my mag, and sure enough, it...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Well, in my eyes Ken dropped hints about the collector's club surprise too, but no one picked up on that either. But after the fact, everything he said, and didn't say, made sense. ;)

Who needs a Dr. Teeth variant?

Personally, I think $125 is a fair price, because we've seen these close for as high as $167.50 on ebay I believe. It's probably a fair bet that if you can't get anyone here on the forum to buy it from you that price, I'm sure you could resell it on ebay for that much, with a buy it now of...

Same thing with the tux Kermit exclusive they shared with TRU. It wasn't until I got on this forum that I found out it woud be available anywhere else.

Count Von Count Sesame Street puppet

Yeah, I did see those as well. Talk about scary. Mickey, Pluto, the Big Bad Wolf and Brer Rabbit I get, but who are some of those characters anyway? "Pinnochio fully turned into a donkey"? "Sourpuss Mary Poppins"? ;)

    Igel Beaker Needed

Man, I don't think anyone saw that tiny "series 2????" Tomahawk. I just read that part where you said we'd all think you were a "crazy man on the computer", and then when you asked for tickets to the Tool show and a flight to Radio City Music Hall, I agreed. ;)

Count Von Count Sesame Street puppet

Yeah, definitely out of my price range too. I did a search on ebay for "Muppet" and organized the list to have the most expensive item first, and that topped the list. I'll be surprised if they get $250 for it, but to each his/her own.

Count Von Count Sesame Street puppet

Yeah, I know it's a copyright infringing bootleg, but it does look like a pretty good representation of the Count. Check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1555976390

You have to CHECK this out!!!

Ken, since that's the long mustache Floyd shown in the series two feature, I'm assuming that is also the version of the bass with the real strings that you said had to get scrapped?

You have to CHECK this out!!!

Wow, that VR feature where you can turn the figs around 360 degrees is cool. :D

    Ask Ken at Palisades

On the twist ties subject.... my son broke the Muppet Labs swivel table. There was only one twist tie left (one of those short ones), at the base of the table, and in his excitment to get the table out, he tried to pull it free. I didn't say anything, as I honestly thought the cardboard would...

    In the box or out?

I'm a real freak. I buy two of everything. I open one set carefully, put all the empty packaging in the attic (you know, for extra insulation) and keep one set sealed. My basement rec room is wall to wall pegboard cupboards (with sliding doors that trigger fluorescent lights when you open...

    Yet another variant Beaker!

    LOL! :D

    Yet another variant Beaker!

Consumed and transported in your stomach would be legal. ;)

    Yet another variant Beaker!

Mine had two snakehead fish in the bag with Beaker, male and female. They were still alive so I threw them into one of the Great Lakes. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Who needs a Dr. Teeth variant?

Yeah, that third one is up to $86.00 already. I think it was just dumb luck that those two were placed so closely together (ending within about a half an hour of each other), so they wound up keeping the price down on both. I think that's probably the bottomed out price. I don't think you'll...
