Whilst it would be nice to get the original openings, if you ask me, let's be happy that we've got Seasons 1-3 and put our lobbying energy into getting seasons 4 and 5 rather than into something that will never happen and is less satisfying than finally getting all the episodes.

Pretty much the usual stuff, about their relationship, what they've been up to, etc... The best thing was seeing Jonathan Ross getting totally drawn into them as if they were real. He said things like "I can'r believe it, I just winked at Miss Piggy expecting she'll wink back."

I was at the taping for The Jonathan Ross Show tonight. Kermit and Piggy were so great, amazing to see them live on stage for the first time. They were referenced throughout the show and were by far the most entertaining guests. Jonathan really raved about the movie, saying how much he loved it...

If it takes the estimated $50M over the holiday weekend and is only beaten to the number 1 slot by one of the most commercially successful movie franchises in recent cinema history, that is by no extent of the imagination a disappointing opener, but incredibly good news for Muppet fans everywhere.
